Kumait Jaroje is a Cybertruck owner from Worcester, Massachusetts, who says he and his family face constant hostilities simply for driving a golden Cybertruck.
Kumait adds that the harassment is affecting his wife and children, and now his wife refuses even to drive the Cybertruck.
Fade up with all the negativity, Kumait tried to trade in his golden wrapped Tesla Cybertruck and get another Tesla; however, he says the EV maker refused to accept his Cybertruck trade-in.
The Massachusetts Cybertruck owner shared his story on the Tesla Cybertruck Enthusiast group on Facebook.
Here is what he wrote…
“My family is being harassed just because we own a Cybertruck.
Since getting our Cybertruck, we’ve faced constant hostility—people making offensive hand gestures, yelling at us, and now this.
Someone even put a Nazi sticker on our truck. My wife and kids don’t deserve this. In fact, the constant harassment has scared our kids, and now my wife refuses to use the Cybertruck altogether.
Disagreeing with Elon Musk or Donald Trump is one thing, but harassing a family over a vehicle is completely unacceptable.
This needs to stop.”
Below his post, Kumait included a picture of his golden Cybertruck showing that someone had put a sticker on it calling him Nazi and with some expletives.
By the way, before we move forward you need to know that Tesla recently made something seemingly impossible, by making the Cybertruck looking cheap, using the Model X. How? Look at this fresh video from the Youtube Channel of Torque News.
Looking at the comment, most Cybertruck owners sympathized with his plight. Some wondered where Kumait lived to face this much hostility.
A fellow Cybertruck owner, Pedro Ferrer, asks…
“Where do you live? I am in Georgia, and I've had my Cybertruck since March and have only experienced a couple of rude hand gestures, which I laugh at because they've been from some people driving falling apart cars, so just really jealous people.
Now, the internet and social media are a whole other thing, but that is to be expected....”
In response, Kumait says the hate is not limited to online interactions.
He writes..
“I live in Worcester, Massachusetts. It got to the point where people are cutting me off sometimes and screaming out of their windows.”
Kumait adds that he tried to trade in his Cybertruck due to the hostilities; however, Tesla refused to take it back.
He writes…
“I tried to trade in the truck because of that, but Tesla said they won’t accept it!”
Looking at the comments, fellow Cybertruck owners advised him to ignore the sticker and keep driving his truck.
However, Kumait says he’s now afraid something more violent could happen to him.
He writes…
“It is not a 'be cool' sticker. It is someone accusing me of being a Nazi and telling me to buzz off. The truck got scratched many times, and I fixed it without a problem.
That ignorant mentality might have someone throw a rock at the truck next time if we don’t stick out and tell these freaks to stop.”
This is definitely not an ideal situation. However, some Cybertruck owners in the group suggest that he’s getting so much hate because Kumait wrapped his Cybertruck gold.
Others say they have not experienced this much hate driving their all-electric trucks and suggest that he consider getting a less flashy wrap.
Whatever the case, it’s surprising to see how much public hate Cybertruck owners face. What do you think is the cause behind all this negativity? Please let me know in the comments.

What's the reason Tesla won't take it back? We gonna let that slide? There's a whole other side to the story, but just straight to victim, and we need more digging. Does he park the truck in a garage? Was it put on at the store? police report filed? get cracking before you start donating to this guys gofundme.

I feel bad for this person. But it's not like he didn't have any warning. Going by normal reasonable moral standards, Musk's behavior and remarks were pretty appalling. Tesla had already lost enough market share because of his extreme and vocal leanings. This fellow isn't guilty, but he didn't play it so smart either. In this life, God gives you a brain to have judgment. We know life isn't fair. You should be moral AND clever, because people who aren't moral can extremely clever as well.

There is too much hate expanding all over the place, and Trump is loving it...but I think the best way to counter it is to try to remain calm and not spread the hate...Trump wasn't strong enough to resist the devil and now he basically wants everyone else to do the same, so he can at least have lots of company and feel that he's not the only one. It can feel difficult to not react in anger, but that can be the devil trying to overtake your soul. I mean there's so many crazy evil things that Trump is doing...like pardoning all those criminals for example...however if your a criminal you've got to love it, because if you commit a crime, all you have to do is shout "I love Trump!...Trump is Great!" while commiting the crime, so that if you get caught, Trump will pardon you. ...and look how he treats the USA allies....if you are in a neighborhood, the friendly neighbors with the most resources are usually happy to help out their less rich neighbors...but if Trump sees someone who doesn't have as much, he looks at that as not an opportunity to help, but as a chance to make them suffer....what will Americans be proud about now?...having the biggest military and the biggest bombs and the most gold toilets?...is that something to be proud about? Americans used to be proud that they were able to help so many other people in the world...not so much anymore....so there's a lot of justified anger out there, but don't let it consume you, otherwise you will lose to the devil...be stronger and remain kind...and BTW, what's with Elon? the guy is supposed to be smart but he can't even wave to the crowd without it looking like a Nazi salute...things are crazy.

The comment about understanding being pissed with Musk or Trump but this is just a car, JFC, cyber trucks were designed to be a STATEMENT. They have never been marketed as anything else. They don’t do well as trucks or EVs, and you only own one, wrapped gold at that, to make a big unmissable public statement. And he’s confused when people are responding to his very deliberate expensive statement? That the “freaks” don’t think he’s oh so cool, futuristic, and presumably wealthy in an admirable way? This guy genuinely doesn’t know why he’s receiving so much hate??? That tracks… for a cybertruck owner. The ONLY people I feel any sympathy for in this story are the kids. There are plenty of people who grow up with nutty parents and realize over adolescence and early adulthood that this behavior isn’t normal or desirable and become lovely, non-cybertruck owning individuals. It also tracks that Tesla wouldn’t take the car back (it has to be in a literal bombing for them to want it) and that a cybertruck owner wouldn’t expect Tesla to behave peak Tesla. He’s deserves it. His kids do not. Don’t know about his wife, I mean, she did choose to marry him and drive the car but plenty of people enter into marriages they later regret and stay for the kids.

He's getting so much hate because Elon Musk is a Nazi who does the Nazi salute and who is helping the right-wing Neo-Nazi part of the German government to win in elections he believes in apartheid and he's destroying our government with 19 year old children instead of accountants coming in and checking everything out he has coders in there sticking their flash drives in messing with our social security with our Medicare Etc why do you think people hate Elon musk? It's pretty obvious so if you drive one of his obvious trucks people are going to think you are a trump and Elon supporter and that's all there is to it and actually you are an Elon supporter if you pay money to buy a Tesla or one of his trucks

it's not personal. it's not even Massachusetts. it's human nature. your truck has morphed from a vehicle into a 'symbol'. thank Elon for that. some symbols, like swastikas — offend folks. others are attracted to them. Kumait — if you must play it safe, research. try to avoid 'symbols' which offend folk. be aware. be woke. otherwise embrace the consequences of your choices and let them roll off you like water on a duck's back. can't blame others for the choices you hold dear. Something similar happened to me. I was wearing my Helly Hansen down jacket for a few years now but occasionally people say to me “Are you a nazi? Don’t you know HH means Heil Hitler?”. Well anyways, I went back to the store and said I want my money back because of the harassment and they refused! It’s unbelievable! My friends told me to just wear the jacket but I’m Agra for my family. What if the harassment becomes violent?

I am sorry for the harassments this man is getting about his truck. I do not like these trucks myself, but I would never ever do anything to someone over a car choice. That is just terrible and I don't blame him for being afraid for his family. There are a lot of angry people out there and you never know what they will latch onto as a reason for venting this hate and rage. Also, Tesla should let him trade-in this vehicle for another. What is wrong with them?

It's not an Elon Musk thing…
Permalink
It's not an Elon Musk thing. Well, it is, but in a way beside the point. The Cybertruck is huge. It weighs 3 1/2 tons. This is dangerous to other cars. The front end seems specifically designed to knock a pedestrian or cyclist down and under the vehicle. The sharp fender edges seem specifically designed to slice & dice a pedestrian or cyclist. It is almost a foot and a half wider than a Corolla and 3 feet longer. It eats parking spots. It's very weight damages roads, which we taxpayers have to pay for, and it doesn't pay gasoline tax to help maintain them.
So the Cybertruck itself is a finger in the eye of all the other people with whom it shares the road. And we didn't even get to Elon.

You republicans make me laugh…poor little guy is upset he can’t drive around his cyber truck because of criticism but republicans criticize every human that isn’t like them. I’m sure he’s also being overdramatic about people “threatening” his kids and scaring them… democrats are humans with real emotions that put thought behind what they are doing so i highly doubt they harassed a child. On top of that we’re not hating the electric car we’re hating the idiot Elon who made them but is now orange man’s bestie who does not support renewable energy like??? People say the “liberals” are the dumb ones the hatred they have for other people is so deep they didn’t even realize when they voted for Trump he was taking away from programs that you republicans literally use and now that your being effected it’s a problem. You people are whack:)
