Owner of a Golden Tesla Cybertruck Says He Can No Longer Handle the Constant Harassment. He Adds, “I Tried to Trade in the Cybertruck, but Tesla Won’t Accept It”

A Cybertruck owner with a golden truck says he has to deal with constant hostility toward him and his family. His wife has stopped using the truck, and he says he wants to trade it in for another Tesla, but the EV maker has refused.

Kumait Jaroje is a Cybertruck owner from Worcester, Massachusetts, who says he and his family face constant hostilities simply for driving a golden Cybertruck.

Kumait adds that the harassment is affecting his wife and children, and now his wife refuses even to drive the Cybertruck.

Fade up with all the negativity, Kumait tried to trade in his golden wrapped Tesla Cybertruck and get another Tesla; however, he says the EV maker refused to accept his Cybertruck trade-in.

The Massachusetts Cybertruck owner shared his story on the Tesla Cybertruck Enthusiast group on Facebook.

Here is what he wrote…

“My family is being harassed just because we own a Cybertruck.

Since getting our Cybertruck, we’ve faced constant hostility—people making offensive hand gestures, yelling at us, and now this.

Someone even put a Nazi sticker on our truck. My wife and kids don’t deserve this. In fact, the constant harassment has scared our kids, and now my wife refuses to use the Cybertruck altogether.

Disagreeing with Elon Musk or Donald Trump is one thing, but harassing a family over a vehicle is completely unacceptable.

This needs to stop.”

Below his post, Kumait included a picture of his golden Cybertruck showing that someone had put a sticker on it calling him Nazi and with some expletives.

By the way, before we move forward you need to know that Tesla recently made something seemingly impossible, by making the Cybertruck looking cheap, using the Model X. How? Look at this fresh video from the Youtube Channel of Torque News.

Looking at the comment, most Cybertruck owners sympathized with his plight. Some wondered where Kumait lived to face this much hostility.

A fellow Cybertruck owner, Pedro Ferrer, asks…

“Where do you live? I am in Georgia, and I've had my Cybertruck since March and have only experienced a couple of rude hand gestures, which I laugh at because they've been from some people driving falling apart cars, so just really jealous people.

Now, the internet and social media are a whole other thing, but that is to be expected....”

In response, Kumait says the hate is not limited to online interactions.

He writes..

“I live in Worcester, Massachusetts. It got to the point where people are cutting me off sometimes and screaming out of their windows.”

Kumait adds that he tried to trade in his Cybertruck due to the hostilities; however, Tesla refused to take it back.

He writes…

“I tried to trade in the truck because of that, but Tesla said they won’t accept it!”

Looking at the comments, fellow Cybertruck owners advised him to ignore the sticker and keep driving his truck.

However, Kumait says he’s now afraid something more violent could happen to him.

He writes…

“It is not a 'be cool' sticker. It is someone accusing me of being a Nazi and telling me to buzz off. The truck got scratched many times, and I fixed it without a problem.

That ignorant mentality might have someone throw a rock at the truck next time if we don’t stick out and tell these freaks to stop.”

This is definitely not an ideal situation. However, some Cybertruck owners in the group suggest that he’s getting so much hate because Kumait wrapped his Cybertruck gold.

Others say they have not experienced this much hate driving their all-electric trucks and suggest that he consider getting a less flashy wrap.

Whatever the case, it’s surprising to see how much public hate Cybertruck owners face. What do you think is the cause behind all this negativity? Please let me know in the comments.

I think it's funny liberals hate Musk now, he was their boy a few years ago, was gonna save the world and take liberals to mars etc. I never bought the hype and I still don't. However every time I see a liberal misuse the term fascist, it makes me want to break out the whiteboard and start drawing some Venn diagrams for them. In hopes that they'll quit abusing the English language, it's been thru enough lately.

The freaks are the people that paid good money for a junk car not the people pointing that fact out. Most people don't own a Tesla and wouldn't own one if they were paid to own it. The government even tried paying people and most people passed on the deal. The majority of people aren't the freaks, it's the other way around.

It's not the color wrap that is causing the negative reaction. Ever since COVID, people around the world have changed. Not for the better. As a Canadian, we read about what is going on in the USA. There's a lot of division and anger going on down there. And around the world. Very sad

A bit of an over-reaction on the part of many people. I mean, it may as well be a golden toilet with a motor in it. Get my drift?

I don't see any issue with the Cyber Truck. However, its sounds like there is a major issue with the people you live around.

I will buy it for a discount. I live in Northern California.
Get in contact with me. I will either fly back or we could arrange for it to be shipped.
Let me know.

He should try putting big stickers on it that say "I'm sorry, I hate Elon Musk too. I can't even pay someone to take this vehicle from me now." - that would stop the harassment.

What do you expect. Grown up and look at what the Tesla brand stands for now. Hate and greed. Plus you actually thought making it gold would get you people giving you two thumbs up 🤣 you have to much money and no idea how ignorant you look.

Take off the gold wrap and it will be less obnoxious. It will then be impervious to rocks and scratches with its armor plating.

My personal experience is that Boston drivers were the rudest in the U S…way before
Cyber.

Carvana will buy almost anything(without modifications).

Just sayin…

People are unfortunately ignorant and can't separate and owners of a corporation versus the consumer of it's product. If they are using a Chinese produced items does that make them Communist? No, of course not. It is very sad the people who own these vehicles are experiencing such retaliation due to the action of a companies owner.

This story is not an accurate reflection of what was discussed in the PRIVATE Facebook group! But that is what I would expect from a Tesla-hating site like Torquenews.
The owner of that gold CyberTruck was only mildly annoyed at the childish antics of the woke mob in Massachussets, and still drives the vehicle every day, proudly I might add.
Here in Georgia, which is an open carry state, no one would dare try this with someone's prized $100,000 vehicle. I loved my vehicle long before we re-elected the greatest president in history, Donald Trump, and before he hired Elon Musk to reform government and kick the woke, DEI liberals out. Now I love the truck even more, and when people flip the bird I just laugh because they are usually driving some Japanese POS that isn't work $20,000. I see these losers coming into my shops every day, cracked screens on their ancient cheap Droid phones, too poor to afford a new phone. But hey these losers have made me rich, so thank God for them!

golden cybertruck???? you are a fool for getting an ev. a bigger fool for getting the cybertruck, and a complete fool for putting a golden wrap on it. Like, Why? Who does that?
you did it to yourself

Joseph Gillespie (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 3:42PM

The problem isn't the CyberTruck. It's where you live. Time to move out of the woke, unfriendly Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Psul (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 3:48PM

Real simple... Take the gold wrap off your truck! You're inviting caustic behavior by saying, "Look at me and my expensive truck". Wrap it in black - it's a more masculine color.

Marc G (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 3:48PM

Just goes to show how ignorant Americans are - and y ou can guess who they are quite easily! Sad as it may be.........

billy b (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 4:15PM

I blame women and minorities for your problems. Just like daddy Trump and Musk. Maybe you should cry to daddy. He might care.

Anthony Vulgamore (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 4:38PM

I am definitely not a cyber truck fan but a person has the right to drive whatever vehicle they want as long as it's road safe. To harass somebody because of what kind of vehicle they drive or whatever the political reason is, it is their right to do so. What is wrong with this country? I actually know the answer to this but for the articles sake I don't think it needs to go into this comment.

Bill (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 4:41PM

Aww you gonna be ok snowflake? I see that hick trash truck and I throw a rock through the windshield. I love how you're bumpkin buddy in Georgia scoffs at others suggesting they're jealous. What a piece of trash. Every one of these ratmobiles I see gets piszed on, rock thrown at, or keyed. Bet on that.

William Merk (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 4:43PM

I bet the hate is mostly from the liberal, woke, Democrats. Only the people that preach DEI feel the need to b hostile and offensive to those who don't drink the cool aid or could care less an about DEI

Michael Campanelli (not verified)    February 10, 2025 - 4:50PM

Um. I think people are upset since they can barely make their ends meeting and your driving a $100,000 dollar truck and then decided to wrap it in gold. I mean you could add some gemstones to make it worse or take the wrap off and make it less.

All commentary about woorats and massholes asside. He is being bullied over the politics of the ceo of the truck company he drives. This is a microcosm of the failures of the democratic party. They have bullied, cancelled, wined, boycotted, all while believing they are in fact infallible and superior and need to be heard. The irony of this president is his narcissistic behavior is the mirror image of the democratic party as a whole. As for harassing a guy and his wife and children over buying an American product (or any product) shows their own immaturity. A trope not lost on the north east but applicable in this circumstance. People who look to divide us are not themselves patriots, harassing behavior does not show maturity, and ultimately their outspokenness shows insecurity in its misguided attempt to be “cool” like the celebs they idolize. When can the healing begin? You (the harassers) are in fact bigger than hating on a ceo with autism and the people who purchase his and the stockholders products. In final, Musk has a disability and you are hating in him, you are the persons bullying disabled people, it is not the other party.

Are you joking? WHY? Because the man is supporting the richest man in the world whose fortune was built with money cleaved during apartheid South Africa from an emerald mine. He supports with his dollars the "man" who illegally accessed and STOLE the data of almost every and possibly every American citizen. If he is so well off he can take a loss and sell that piece of garbage to one of the circle jerkers who care about supporting the most corrupt shit that has ever happened in America.
