Even the Tesla Model 3 RWD Is a Cinema On Wheels

The Tesla Model 3 RWD is Tesla's cheapest vehicle - and it has an amazing sound system.

Tesla Model 3 RWD: Cinema on Wheels

We see a view of @BabyTesla and his Model 3 RWD from the view in the front. He calls his Model 3 RWD one of the best sound systems he's ever had, and that a Tesla is literally a cinema on wheels.

I can attest to this as I also have a Model 3 RWD and the sound system is incredible. It has a good range of volume and the bass is very good. It may not be as good as having a subwoofer in your car, but it's still pretty good.

The Model 3 RWD comes with a seven-speaker system with immersive sound. This offers great sound at the lowest cost for a Tesla vehicle. This includes an 80W woofer within the front two doors, three mid-range drivers within the front area between the dashboard and windscreen, and one mid-range driver within each of the rear doors.

It's very easy to play music in your Tesla Model 3 RWD. You can use the center screen to select music, or tap on the right button on the steering wheel and ask it to play you a song. Or, you can connect your phone via Bluetooth.

If you move up to the Model 3 long range, you get a fourteen-speaker system, with twice as many speakers as the Model 3 RWD. This is a premium interior package with full immersive sound.

The Model Y variations have a great sound system as well. It has a thirteen-speaker system that includes a 160-watt subwoofer and an amplifier. In total, the sound system produces about 600 watts. That's pretty powerful for a car.

There are three speakers placed in the front and center between the dashboard and windscreen. There is a tweet by each of the front door triangles, a speaker in both A-pillars, and a subwoofer in each of the front doors. The Model Y also has speakers at the rear seats, located at each of the back doors and toward the trunk lid.

The Tesla Model S and X have similar sound systems. If you get a Tesla Model S Plaid, it has a twenty-two-speaker sound system, which gives your car a home theater-like experience. This includes a mix of subwoofers, midrange woofers, midrange speakers, and tweeters. It utilizes Dolby Pro-Logic and all this runs through a 560-watt amplifier.

I can't wait to see what sound system the Cybertruck has!

Tesla doesn't skimp on sound and each of their vehicles has a theater like experience. I just happen to have the lowest cost Tesla, but my sound is still amazing!
