Tesla has confirmed the first deliveries of the more affordable $59,990 Cybertruck, with the initial customer handover scheduled for June 12.

Kristin Schoen, a Tesla enthusiast from Texas, is among the first invited to receive the new Cybertruck variant.

After Kristin received her delivery confirmation, she shared the exciting news in the Tesla Cybertruck group on Facebook.

She simply posted...

“It's getting real!”

Below her post, Kristin also shared a screenshot from her Tesla app showing the delivery date.

The first screenshot from the Tesla app reads...

At this point, Kristin had only completed 5 of the 9 steps needed to finalize the delivery process.

These included items such as providing a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, proof of residence, financial and banking information, and more.

Shortly after securing her delivery appointment, Kristin completed all required steps and then shared a second screenshot that reads...

With all 9 pre-delivery steps completed, Kristin now has a confirmed delivery date of June 12, as verified by Tesla.

This is exciting news, especially given the strong interest among Tesla fans for the less expensive $59,990 Cybertruck.

Earlier, we reported that demand for this lower-cost Cybertruck is so high that it’s sold out until 2027.

Considering the number of Cybertruck enthusiasts waiting for this vehicle, a lot of potential buyers had questions for Kristin.

One common question was whether her order was for the $59,990 version or the more expensive $79,990 Premium all-wheel-drive model.

Fellow Tesla enthusiast Matt McInerny asked...

“I assume this is the $59K version.”

Kristin confirmed her order is indeed for the base Standard All-Wheel-Drive Cybertruck.

It’s also clear from the delivery screenshot she provided that she ordered the base model.

The truck in the confirmation photo features the 18-inch Molten wheels, which come standard on the cheaper Cybertruck variant.

Another common question was about Kristin’s location and why she was receiving one of the first deliveries.

Kristin mentioned that she is based in Texas.

Since the lower-cost Cybertruck is being produced at Tesla’s Texas factory, similar to other Cybertruck models, it makes sense that Texas residents would receive early deliveries.

Additionally, Kristin is already a Tesla customer, and this is her second Cybertruck.

She shared...

“I have a Performance Cybertruck and love it! I bought this to put on Turo.”

When it comes to deliveries, Tesla often prioritizes existing customers, and since this is her second Cybertruck, it makes sense that she was among the first chosen to receive the more affordable Cybertruck variant.

Another question people had was about when Kristin ordered her truck to be prioritized for initial delivery.

Kristin said she placed her order on February 20, the same day Tesla announced the vehicle.

Another question people wanted to know was how accurate the initial estimated delivery date was compared to the actual date.

Fellow reservation holder Tino Michael asked…

“What was Tesla’s estimated delivery timeframe before you received the VIN? Was it accurate or close to the actual date?”

Kristin responded...

“My delivery estimate was first saying the 2nd week in June, then it moved to 2027.”

This means her delivery estimate was showing 2027 before she was assigned a VIN, and it suddenly changed to June 12.

Many reservation holders will appreciate this news, as they are currently seeing projected delivery dates in 2027.

Overall, Tesla has confirmed that the first $59,990 Cybertrucks will be delivered on June 12, and Tesla fans seem excited about this news.
