The 2015 Ford Mustang Looks Great Out on the Open Road

It is New Year’s Day 2014 and with very little going on in the automotive world as we wait for the start of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, this seems like a fine time to watch the 2015 Ford Mustang out cruising on the open road.

The video below was issued recently by Ford Motor Company and while you won’t see anything groundbreaking – this short clip offers a look at the new S550 Mustang cruising from all sorts of angles. The muscle car featured in this video is a 2015 Mustang GT in Ingot Silver with what looks to be the performance package rims and tires and while we don’t get any really high quality soundbytes of the new Mustang, we do get a few fleeting chances to hear the new S550 Mustang’s 5.0L V8 grumbling as it motivates the new muscle car along the famous Route 66.

We still do not know for sure how much power the 2015 Ford Mustang GT will offer when it hits showrooms later this year but with the new Mustang’s auto show debut less than two weeks away, we should soon get some more details on the next generation Ford Mustang. The Mustang will almost certainly be the centerpiece of Ford Motor Company’s huge display at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit’s Cobo Hall and once the public starts surrounding the 2015 Mustang; we expect that Ford will be far more forthcoming with details on the next generation of the fabled American performance car. When those specs are announced, I expect that the new Mustang will be the best performing Mustang of all time but that is all just speculation until the automaker announces full details.

TorqueNews will be covering the 2014 North American International Auto Show so if there is any new information on the 2015 Ford Mustang you can be sure to find it here but until then – Mustang fans can watch 49 seconds of the new pony car in action on the open road. Enjoy!
