Ford has another new factory-backed custom package available for its largest pickup trucks. The limited-edition 2027 Super Duty Proud to Honor Package features red, white, and blue graphics and a direct charitable contribution to military families with every purchase. The Proud to Honor package will be available on most 2027 F-250 models, with F-350 and F-450 variants available later in summer 2026. Just in time for the nation’s 250th Anniversary, Proud to Honor transforms the iconic Super Duty into a rolling tribute to the nation with striking red, white, and blue graphics, darkened exterior accents, and aggressive black wheels — while also giving back to the military families who serve. It is only available on black trucks.
Ford says a portion of the proceeds from every Super Duty Proud to Honor package sold will be donated directly to Blue Star Families and Ford's Proud to Honor veteran services programs. Blue Star Families focuses on supporting military families, spouses, and children who face the intense realities of deployment and military life. The package continues Ford's long-standing history of supporting military members, veterans, and their families.
Pickups are Popular with Military Personnel
While there are not exact numbers available, pickup trucks are popular with U.S. service personnel. Trucks make it much easier for the service people who are frequently transferred. Members of the military also often have a lot of gear that they must carry with them. Active-duty members and veterans are statistically more likely to own trucks than civilians.
When the Proud to Honor Trucks Will Be Available
The 2027 trucks can be ordered now and will be available in the fall. The Proud to Honor package is installed at the factory or by a certified Ford dealer. Ford is not saying how much the Proud to Honor package will cost.
Ford is Also Sponsoring a New Race and Concert Event
Ford is also sponsoring a new racing event along with NASCAR. The military tribute race will be called the Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic. It debuts on Veterans Day 2026 featuring Mustang Dark Horse Rs, and will be paired with a concert featuring Zac Brown Band.
Ford is also offering a safe-driving program for local military teens.
Ford Highlighting its Role in the Arsenal of Democracy
It is good business for Ford to support military personnel. Most of the automakers have significant discount programs for Active Duty and Veterans. Ford played a major role in the "Arsenal of Democracy" during World War II building armaments and aircraft. Ford now has modern initiatives supporting veteran hiring and helping military families. I recently reported on a new push by Ford to provide military vehicles focused on safety and better mobility for U.S. troops.
As America celebrates its 250th birthday, Ford is strengthening that commitment, honoring those who keep our country safe and the families that serve beside them. Ford is sponsoring a new NASCAR backed race called the Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic, which will take place on November 11, 2026.
The Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic will feature a race honoring all six military branches and piloted by Ford Racing drivers. The event will also include an exclusive, world-class concert headlined by Zac Brown Band and others.
Ford says, “We are incredibly grateful to our partners for sharing our deep commitment to supporting the military community. By combining the thrill of racing, the emotional power of live music, and the inspiring stories of our service members, we are creating a unifying celebration of service. November is going to be historic, and we want all of you to be a part of it.”
