Tesla Has Launched a Cybertruck Referral Program Giving Away a Free Cybertruck

Tesla is offering a chance to win a brand new Cybertruck to customers as part of a revamped referral program, Torque News learned about this big Tesla news today. The announcement was made public on Twitter by user @BabyTesla3, who posted screenshots of the new program from the official Tesla app.

According to the description of the Tesla Cybertruck's referral program on the Tesla app, the lottery is free to enter, but participants must have 500 credits in their Tesla account to be eligible. These credits can be earned by referring a friend to purchase a Tesla product or by buying a Tesla product themselves. The revamped loyalty program offers even more incentives for customers to refer their friends to Tesla.

Tesla app has the full list, but you can buy many things from t-shirts to FSD!

If someone refers a Tesla Model S or Model X, they receive 3,500 credits when the purchase is finalized. Referring a Model 3 or Model Y results in 2,000 credits. If someone purchases a Model S or Model X, they receive 6,000 credits, while a Model 3 or Model Y purchase automatically earns the buyer 3,000 credits.

The raffle offers the chance to win one of the first Cybertruck VINs off the production line, and the lucky winner will not need to make a reservation or pay any fees. Multiple entries are allowed, increasing the chances of winning for those who accumulate more credits.

Tesla's referral program has had its ups and downs in the past five years, with it being taken offline and then reinstated multiple times. YouTubers have had both good and bad experiences with the program. In 2019, Andy Slye managed to earn two Tesla Roadsters in just two months through referrals, while Rich Rebuilds claimed his referral code was cut due to "bad faith" in 2020.

The referral program was canceled in 2021, only to be reintroduced in a new form in 2023. This new program promises to offer customers even more incentives to refer their friends to Tesla, and the Cybertruck raffle is a shining example of the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The Cybertruck is Tesla's highly anticipated electric pickup truck, and it has already generated a significant amount of buzz. The Cybertruck's futuristic design and cutting-edge technology make it a highly desirable vehicle for many consumers. The Cybertruck boasts a range of up to 500 miles on a single charge, and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. It is also capable of towing up to 14,000 pounds.

The Cybertruck has already received over one million pre-orders since its unveiling in November 2019. The vehicle's unique design has sparked a lot of conversation, with some people loving the bold and futuristic look and others finding it too unconventional.

I think Tesla's new referral program is an exciting development for current and potential Tesla customers. The chance to win a brand new Cybertruck is a major incentive for people to refer their friends and family to Tesla, and the revamped loyalty program promises to offer even more benefits for customers. As always, it will be interesting to see how the program evolves over time and how customers respond to it.
