Fans React to Exclusive 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Terra Color

Terra is the 2024 Toyota TRD Pro color. Nos see what fans think.

Toyota announced Terra as its exclusive color for 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro this week.

The Tacoma TRD Pro picture shown makes Terra paint look more in the orange family (yes, I know Toyota has already used Inferno orange and Solar Octane bright orange as Pro colors). I feel, however, this is not a true representation of what Terra is all about.

Look for a more earthy brown/salmon/clay/orange hue, if that makes any sense. It may end up looking more natural like Quicksand and Cement – at least in their family of earthy shades. Either way, I do like Terra. Just how much remains to be seen.

Terra Cotta PotMaybe a little in this shade - with some salmon and clay thrown in?

I guess this means I will have to update my personal TRD Pro color rankings sometime soon. I will do that as soon as I see a picture or video of Terra in bright light, so I know what it really looks like.

Fans Comment on Terra TRD Pro

A solid majority of Toyota fans seem to approve of the new 2024 Toyota TRD Pro color. I took a sampling of comments from Toyota USA social media platforms and my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel to see how people like Terra.

“Now THAT is a sexy good color! I’d buy that today!” Exclaimed Joseph.

Right Lane Hog asked. “Jeff, Will the Land Cruiser you just previewed come in this colour?” Fantastic question Hog. I doubt Terra will be on 2024 Land Cruiser, but I also suppose you never know.

“While Cement is forever my all-time favorite, Lunar Rock (aka CeMint) has easily become my number 2. This, however, is now put in question thanks to Terra. Thanks, @toyotausa for making me question my existence.” Said a philosophical front_range_pro. That was very deep and also made me question my entire existence. Nice work.

“Holy mackerel! Toyota has done it again.” I do believe this is a hearty thumbs up from Linda.

“Not another orange!??? Why not be different and go with purple or yellow?” Asked Javier. I really like black cherry and yellow as choices too, Javier. I think Terra will not look so orange when we see more pictures.

Jim stated. “Wish they would have shown it in better lighting. Looks like Inferno to me.”

What is Tacoma TRD Pro Terra?

You bring up a good point Jim. And I agree with you – at least for now.

I think we should view this reveal as a teaser, of sorts, instead of a true reveal. Clearly Toyota knows they did not present the new Terra color in the brightest lighting conditions. They did this with a specific purpose, or plan, in mind.

My feeling is that Toyota will soon show clearer, bolder, more enlightening pictures or videos of Terra. But on another vehicle. Like 2024 Tundra TRD Pro, 2024 4Runner TRD Pro, or 2024 Sequoia TRD Pro.

This strategic plan makes sense, especially since no news has been revealed for 4Runner or Sequoia or Tundra yet for the 2024 model year.

Perhaps they are wanting to make a splash with these models for their “What’s new for 2024 4Runner, Tundra, and Sequoia” announcements.
