Ask any Tesla Cybertruck Owner What They Think About Their Truck, and "Tens of Thousands Will Tell You the Same Thing"

What do Tesla Cybertruck owners think about their controversial trucks? It's a question owners will answer, not what you think. Yes, there are a few negative comments, but the vast majority have a very different take on the new electric truck.

"Imagine believing the internet over thousands of Tesla Cybertruck owners."

Marcus Reno, who owns a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck, said that. I wrote a previous story about Marcus, which you can read here, where he says the negativity revolving around the controversial Cybertruck is fueling interest in Tesla

In his recent post on the Tesla Cybertruck Talk Facebook page, Marcus says,

"Imagine being the kind of person who thrives on negativity and fully believes the massive, coordinated efforts to discredit something—despite real-world facts and ownership proof constantly debunking it."

"You can ask any Cybertruck owner what they think about their truck, and tens of thousands will tell you the same thing." Here are three common things owners are saying:

  • It's amazing.
  • It's one of the best vehicles they've ever owned.
  • It's by far the best daily-driver truck ever produced.

Are All Cybertruck Owners Previous Tesla Owners?

No. Marcus says, "Most Cybertruck owners have owned multiple trucks and cars—Ford F-150s, Dodge Ram 1500s, Toyota Tundras, Ford Raptors, GMC Denalis, and everything in between. Yet somehow, we're supposed to ignore their firsthand experience and instead believe some guy on TikTok or Facebook who's never even sat in one?"

"Because Jim Bob or a political content creator watched a 30-second video packed with misleading, regurgitated negativity? They must know best, right? Just look at the effort to bad-mouth the Cybertruck from every angle."

There's Plenty of Fake News

"The sheer number of bots, trolls, and fake accounts constantly repeating the same false claims is nothing short of desperate. The goal? Keep people from wanting to know the truth," he says.

And Yet, All That Negativity is Backfiring

Marcus continues, "All of this negativity has actually driven more curiosity. People want to see for themselves. The more outrageous the hate, the more questions people have. And the reality becomes very clear once they take the time to see a Cybertruck, talk to an owner, or take a test drive. They've been misled. Badly."

"Now, let's be honest—the Cybertruck isn't for everyone. It's a high-tier truck; not every buyer needs or wants that. But you will start seeing them on every street when the lower-priced models drop, with over a million reservation holders still in line. And then, people will finally understand."

Kids Love the Cybertruck

I recently wrote a piece on the Cybertruck titled Tesla Cybertruck Owner Says, "I Picked My Kids Up at School, and a Group of Students Ran Up To Look Screaming CYBERTRUCK! I Was Expecting the Worst

What happened to Travis Stalkier surprised him because he was expecting a different outcome. I found his post on the Tesla Cybertruck Owner's Facebook page.

In Michigan, where he lives, it's been cold, and the students haven't been outside, but today was different.

As it begins to thaw out in the Midwest and the temperatures are warmer, the students were outside his kid's school when he picked them up, and when they saw the Cybertruck, it was a mad dash to take a look. What happened to him and his kids was a total shock.

Travis says,

"Yesterday was the first day all the students were outside when I picked up my six-year-old from school. We are in Michigan, and it's been too cold, but it's warming up now. At least 12 kids ran to the fence screaming, "CYBERTRUCK!" I was expecting the worst. They LOVED it."

"They wanted to know who's dad I was. They asked for a ride. They wanted to know every detail about what it looked like inside. How fast it goes. When did I get it? It was so cool."

That's just one of many Cybertruck stories.

Erdal Calgary purchased his Cybertruck on April 26, 2024, and his life has changed. He describes it as a "transformative experience." How many car owners can say that?

Erdal says,

"Since April 2024, driving my Cybertruck has been a transformative experience, reshaping my daily commute and outlook on life."

"The sleek, futuristic design and powerful performance have elevated my driving experience to new heights—each journey feels like a glimpse into the future."

Cybertruck owner Michael Foreman says, "I waited from day 1 and received the Foundation series about five months ago in Hawaii. Have been very impressed with its handling and ease of parking. Have been learning to trust the self-driving and parking."

"It's generally a much safer driver than me. I'm getting a bridge to be a backup power source for my house. I've not had negative experiences in maintenance or handling or from individuals. Kids and moms love it. I'm pleased I bought it."

Marcus says, Cybertruck Owners, Chime in!

He says, "Drop your experiences in the comment section below. Let's help those still trying to separate facts from the noise."

"And if you're still unsure, do some research. Start by searching my other articles and reading the comments from actual owners. Then, ask a few Cybertruck owners yourself. The truth is out there—you have to want to find it."

By the way, in light of Tesla's falling sales the company has a backup plan in China. Here is how Tesla plans to combat fierce competition in China, which you can watch in this video from the Torque News Youtube channel.

Paid article to boost Teslar sale. Largely inaccurate.Time will tell where CT bunker goes. It’s interesting rich man’s model is futuristic. If a poor guy invented it, would have been called a ‘Trashy Bunker’. You talked about kids there. You have already filled a hoax in their brain about the brand. They goanna like it no matter what you show to them. Ask the same kids 10 years later when they start working, make money, buy and drive cars themselves and listen what they have to say.

Of course kids love it, I think I drew something like that on my notebook in third grade. Absolutely ridiculous vehicle at any price. 100k is out of the question.

This article just quotes a handful of Cybertruck owners and completely ignores the main reason for the public sentiment against them and Tesla in general. It has nothing to do with how the vehicle performs. It's all about who owns and manages the company. Elon Musk's association with Tesla has made the brand toxic among mainstream investors because Musk's political activities are in direct opposition to sentiments held by Tesla's target market well-heeled urban/suburban environmentally conscious liberals.

Plummeting sales numbers should be a wake up call for the Tesla board of directors, and they should be looking to remove Musk as CEO and push for a sale of majority ownership of the company.

I'm born and raised in Michigan so I have an affinity to automobiles. Have had my Cybertruck since late 2024. Having owned a variety of cars from Porsche, BMW, Cadillac and others, this wild truck is the most advanced, fun to drive of them all. I look forward to driving it any chance I get! So far the only downside is cold temperatures, typically winter time. The low temperatures really drive the range down.

Cybertruck is amazing!
The best vehicle I have ever owned!
Everyone loves it when I take them for a ride!
What else can you ask!
Love it! Love it! Love it!

If you want to support a terrible person and drive around in a rolling dumpster/refrigerator, by all means go ahead. Hitler had fans too

i am a senior and love the fsd on my model y, it drives much better than me, i am able to turn it off when i like more control but turn it back on right after, i do not see why there are so many negatives on fsd, even my wife did not use it.

It's an ugly truck and it's not making up information or anything like that it's cybertruck owners who hate them too. So many of them Are not fantastic there's a lot wrong with that truck. And it's effing hideous but if you think that a car changes your outlook on life you're pretty shallow.

They might be the greatest vehicle ever built, but I can't get past the dumpster look.
The other Teslas have a modern streamlined look, and are visually appealing. But the Cybertruck looks like something an 8-year old drawn with a ruler and a box of Crayola.

Jake (not verified)    March 16, 2025 - 10:49PM

Absolutely trust the actual owners over the biased media funded by ad revenue from legacy auto (Tesla does virtually no advertising, which the media likely hates).

I have a Cyberbeast, coming from an F150. The Cybertruck does everything I used the F150 for and more. It’s the best performing, most fun vehicle I’ve ever driven and absurdly fast!

I have owned a Cybertruck AWD Foundation series since November 2024, and I greatly relate to what I've read in this article. I am from Montreal, Canada, and 99.9% of my interactions with people are positive. I would even say they are incredible. The same goes for me when I pick up my kids from school; the fence fills up with children yelling CYBERTRUCK! CYBERTRUCK! Some run behind the truck and ask me to roll down my window just to tell me, 'Your Cybertruck is really beautiful, sir.' People ask me if they can see the inside almost every time I’m parked somewhere. I’ve lost count of the number of thumbs up I get when someone passes by. I’ve only received a single dirty finger once. I love my truck for its futuristic design, performance, and driving experience. I’ve had several pickups (RAM 1500, F-150, GMC Sierra 1500), and the Cybertruck is by far the best vehicle I’ve ever driven in my life."

Was that an article, or Tesla PR? Tried to tow anything with it? Have you tried using it as a truck? No, but some kids up the street really liked it! #Pathetic

Ostrazio (not verified)    March 17, 2025 - 7:44AM

A Cybertruck owner is the last person I would ask about the quality, as well as aesthetics, of anything. It'd be like looking for tips about elegance from someone who wears saggy pants with underwear showing, or someone who wears golden "MAGA" sneakers.

What's the difference between a porcupine and a Cybertruck?
...
A porcupines prick's are on the outside.

This article is hilarious. Guess what, kids and adults alike run up to my Mercedes S550 Coupe and AMG GT, hell even my GL 550.

That doesn't negate the horror stories in the media about Tesla trucks. Parts coming off, false claims of its capabilities etc.

But hey, just like I'm laughing at articles like "I voted for Trump, now my wife was deported." I say listen to whatever "facts" you choose to listen to.

One thing I've learned about Tesla owners, they're like my ex-wife and much like Trump supporters. Delusional and in denial. Brick walls. Nothing could possibly be wrong with their Tesla right, it's perfect. They will literally ride 'till the wheels fall off.

I say let people spend their money the way they want. I for one think the Tesla is one of the most boring unappealing car out. Its like walking around with an Apple product as a status symbol when anyone that knows anything knows Android and their partners have long surpassed Apple in innovation. But, just like Tesla owners, Apple folks don't want to hear it. They're loyal to their brand just like Trumper are loyal to their brand despite working against their own best interests.

ANGST (not verified)    March 17, 2025 - 7:19PM

For all the people who are saying oh if you'd want to believe the internet and you want to believe the negativity, oh well. Don't do that because it's really a good truck. I bet you're the same people that voted for Trump. I think that explains it all.

I've worked at an auto auction for the past 30 years. We started getting cyber trucks in 3 years ago to sell. I drive the high end model trucks on sell day( Fridays) and that impotent excuse for a truck is laughable. It's as if someone with zero concept or experience building something had zero clue what he/she was doing. It's a shit show. Also, some of the other reviews that are positive sounds like Elon wrote them himself or paid someone to do it for him.

Adam (not verified)    March 17, 2025 - 10:38PM

Could Elon 's interest in attaching himself to MAGA actually be marketing for his truck to that demographic, traditionally against all things electric, but rich with truck buyers. Who knew that all it would take was Authoritarianism to change people's minds about electric vehicles.

Matt Myer (not verified)    March 18, 2025 - 8:58AM

I drive a Silverado EV. Yesterday had to tow a Cybertruck (actually drag it) off the highway to a charging station when it ran out of range. I was just helping the guy out. The scariest thing about the Cybertruck is the sharp panel edges. I literally almost cut myself just running my hand over the cab. The whole thing felt cheaply put together. A-arms are as thin as a toyota corolla, and I could almost peel off parts of the stainless steel panels (they're just glued on).

Very unimpressed...especially considering the Silverado can go 450 miles on a charge compared to the Cyber truck 300miles. I had an early reservation for the Cybertruck, but glad I cancelled.

Roscoe (not verified)    March 18, 2025 - 11:22AM

Seriously, are there really Tens of Thousands of Cybertruck owners .... willing to comment?
It actually appears that the "tens of thousands " claim is just another unsubstantiated claim of unidentified Trumpladia Incels.

Debo (not verified)    March 18, 2025 - 1:11PM

You mean the people that sunk massive amounts of money into a vehicle won’t speak negatively about a sunk cost?

I got a truck to go kayak fishing with my kid. Zero chance you fit one, let alone two kayaks in the bed. Small chance you make it on a muddy road to the lake.

It probably speaks more to the fact the people that bought this truck weren’t doing truck stuff with trucks in the first place. In that case, you just bought a Tesla SUV.

Al I (not verified)    March 19, 2025 - 12:16PM

Funny how all this negativity started when Musk became involved with Donald Trump, who BTW is one of the most hated people by the democrats and leftists

Jim jones (not verified)    March 19, 2025 - 3:41PM

You may have heard a lot of negative things about heaven's gate, however, we surveyed tens of thousands of members and not a single one had a complaint. In fact most members we talked to loved the cult and its leader unconditionally.
