I love performance trucks. I love writing about them and I love driving them. So when I heard about another collaboration between Roush Performance and Ford, that included a chic California clothing company, well, I just had to write about it.

The 2020 Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition has a cool name, but also has unique looks and performance you’d expect from Roush. 5.11 Tactical is an online clothing store that also some brick and mortar locations. Their motto says: “Built on a foundation of durability, quality and value, 5.11 Tactical leads the industry in delivering functionally innovative gear, head to toe."

Honestly that sounds like a perfect partnership for both Ford F-150 and Roush Performance.

Tactical Performance
The 2020 Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition features incredible performance. Under the hood, the 2020 Roush F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition comes equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine combined with the Roush TVS R2650 Supercharger System - delivering 650 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque.

The 5.11 Tactical Edition comes standard with the Roush Dual Tip Active Exhaust System for added power and a more aggressive tone.

The 2020 ROUSH F-150 5.11 Tactical edition features the ROUSH/Fox 2.0 Off-Road Suspension System that is engineered to deliver a smooth ride on any terrain, increased suspension travel, and additional tire clearance.

Built from Ford’s Lariat configuration in either Agate Black or Abyss Gray exterior colors, the 2020 ROUSH F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition features exclusive custom-designed digital-camo and 5.11 Tactical graphics on the exterior.

The truck comes with an exclusive 5.11 Tactical Gear kit, which includes a serialized certificate of authenticity, custom 5.11 Tactical hard case with foam insert holding an LE EMT Multi-Tool, spare Roush key fob, custom tactical pen, multi-tool money clip, tactical duffle bag featuring Roush and 5.11 Tactical branding, a range hat, and USA flag patch.

The black finish 20-inch Roush wheels are wrapped with 33-inch General Grabber™ ATX tires for reliable traction on and off the road.

According to Roush: Styling details include a bespoke Roush grille with signature integrated lighting, puddle lamps that light up the ground with the ROUSH logo whenever the doors are unlocked or opened, and fender flares with integrated accent lighting for a wider stance.

The custom front bumper cover and fender badging complete the look, with the option to add a Baja-inspired chase rack with dual 10-inch Rigid SR Pro Series light bars that each output 7,920 lumens to provide a powerful light source for nighttime excursions (late availability).

The interior is customized too. The 2020 Roush F-150 Tactical Edition features a custom gauge cluster, Roush floor liners by WeatherTech, premium ROUSH leather featuring a USA flag, Roush console vault, and serialized interior badging exclusive to the 5.11 Tactical Edition.

Pricing/Options For 2020 Roush 5.11 Tactical F-150
I wrote about how Roush was extending the financing deal on their special-edition vehicles (when financed through Ford Credit) so this Tactical F-150 could be eligible for an 84-month interest-free loan. Check with a certified Roush dealer at your local Ford dealership to find out if you qualify.

As such, the Tactical F-150 starts at $31,000 above base vehicle pricing. But with only 150 produced total, it could be an instant collector and retain most of its value.
