The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has another award to add to its extensive resume. The New England Motor Press Association has crowned the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX as the Official Winter Pickup Truck of New England. The award is impressive because New England is known for its bitter cold, ice and snow during winter. Traveling can often be dangerous, unless you are prepared for the extreme conditions.

"The Ram 1500 TRX earned the top spot as the overall winner,'' said John Paul, President, New England Motor Press Association. "The mighty TRX is designed to handle the harshest conditions, including snow, and satisfies the New England motorist in every detail from its supercharged engine to its 35-inch tires.”
This was the first year that the 2021 Ram TRX was eligible for the competition. This is the third year that a Stellantis vehicle was chosen as the top truck.

Other 2021 Ram TRX Accolades

The 2021 Ram TRX has already received a number of prestigious awards. The Ram 1500 TRX was voted Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year. The Ram TRX was also recently named FOUR WHEELER 2021 Pickup of the Year for its off-roading prowess. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is clocked at doing 0-60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds, the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph and a top speed 118 mph. The TRX, with its 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI® V-8 engine, produces 702-horsepower. It is the quickest, fastest and most powerful mass-produced half-ton pickup truck in the world. The truck was also named to the Car and Driver Editors' Choice list. The 2021 Ram TRX was also named Rocky Mountain Automotive Press Truck of the Year.
