The 2022 Ram 1500 Wants to Take You Into the Back Country

During the pandemic, it seems everyone rediscovered the great outdoors. Camping, fishing and hiking skyrocketed in all areas of the country. Campgrounds are packed and the sale of cabins and RVs are off the charts. Ram has designed a 2022 Ram 1500 to take to nearly anywhere you want to go. The BackCountry Edition turns the 2022 Ram 1500 Big Horn or Lone Star into your most rugged off-road truck straight from the factory.

BackCountry Rugged Off-Road Features

The BackCountry Edition includes the upgrades that off-roaders, hunters, fisherman and campers typically add to their trucks. The BackCountry standard features include off-road calibrated shocks, all-terrain tires, skid plates, tow hooks, electronic rear differential and hill-descent control perfect for exploring the great outdoors. The special equipment puts all sorts of terrain within reach, no matter what season. Driving on snow, sand or in mud will all be safer with the special tires, skid plates and hill-descent control.

Custom Editions Straight From the Factory.

Ram has done an incredible job of creating custom packages straight from the factory that strike special notes with their truck buyers. Ram has built special custom shops near their primary truck factories. That way, trained personnel install all of the custom features and they all come with a factory-backed warranty. Buyers are especially happy that they can build the added cost of the special equipment into the price of the vehicle rather than having to pay for the custom additions all at once. Ram has also made some of the custom equipment available on some of its most affordable trucks, a real plus for younger buyers.

The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry Edition was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show. It will be available in the third quarter of 2021. The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry is available in 4x4 Quad and 4x4 Crew Cab configurations with both the 5.7-liter V-8 and 5.7-liter V-8 engine with eTorque mild-hybrid assist. The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry Edition has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $40,085, plus $1,695 destination.
