Cybertruck Run Rate Said To Be 50 Per Day/1,500 Per Month/18,000 Per Year Presently

Tesla Cybertruck production appears to be ramping nicely, with reports that Tesla has reached about a 50 per day run rate at its Giga Texas factory.

Tesla Cybertruck Production

I think Tesla may be sandbagging Cybertruck production, as we are starting to see more and more Cybertrucks in the Giga Texas parking lot. There are reports that Tesla has reached a 50 per day run rate in production.

However, without Tesla posting or updating us on this information, it's all speculation, but with the number of Cybertrucks regularly being seen in the parking lot, I think this number is close. Joe Tegtmeyer's drone shot shows about 25 Cybertrucks in the outbound lot this morning, and the day is still young.

Ramping production is an exponential curve for Tesla. It always starts off slow, then, as more and more vehicles are produced in the production ramp, the learnings and expansion feeds upon itself, enabling faster and faster production.

By the time the end of the year is done, I expect that Tesla will be doing about 500 Cybertrucks per day instead of 50 per day. I don't think Tesla will simply add 50 per day each month in the ramp, it will get to 100 in a few months, and then start to ramp up more quickly as the middle of the year hits and beyond.

Final Production Ramp For Cybertruck

It's possible - though not a sure thing, that the Cybertruck eventually gets to a 500,000 per year production rate. With an order backlog of over 2 million orders, that would still keep the Cybertruck sold out until 2027/2028. This doesn't even count new people ordering the Cybertruck.

That kind of ramp would look like this:

* Per Day: 1,389

* Per Week: 10,416

* Per Month: 41,666

* Per Year: 500,000

Tesla has its work cut out for it to get to this point, and will need a lot of raw materials for the stainless steel exoskeleton and batteries to power it. This is one reason Tesla is building a Lithium refining facility near Giga Texas.

It's tough to beat the Cybertruck in terms of its unique look, functionality, technology advancements, and even its epic sound system. All of this, including off-road capability that can handle sand dunes, make it a compelling EV truck.

EVs are getting so very close to being a better overall deal than gas cars right now - that crossover point is known as the valley of death, according to JPR007 on X. This will most likely start happening in 2025.

I'm looking forward to seeing Cybertrucks everywhere. Recently, the Cybertruck was seen easily handling dense winter conditions on the roads of Utah.

I've never seen a more unique vehicle than the Cybertruck. It also has many different wrap options to make it further stand out.
