Kyle Vance, a Cybertruck owner from Oklahoma, reports that his truck broke down during a Veterans Day parade.

He writes…

“I was driving the Cybertruck during a Veterans Day parade today. While we were sitting and waiting, I got the warning, “Pull Over Safely. Vehicle Shutting Down.”

A vehicle breaking down is never ideal, but it can feel particularly embarrassing when it happens right in the middle of a parade.

What’s even more ironic is that the Cybertruck became undrivable as Kyle was increasing the suspension height to show off the truck better.

He continues to write…

“Just before it happened, I was raising the air suspension to 'High' for the parade.”

Understandably, when you block the road with a polarizing vehicle like the Cybertruck, it’s bound to attract some attention.

And regrettably for Kyle, he says he was yelled at and made fun of as he sat in a broken Cybertruck blocking the road.

He continues to write…

“It was embarrassing, and of course, I got yelled at and laughed at a lot.

I called Tesla support, and they were going to send a tow truck. I was on a highway with no way to pull off or move.”

Up to this point, things had been going wrong; however, thankfully for Kyle, after 15 minutes of blocking the road and feeling embarrassed, his truck finally started running on its own.

Kyle writes…

“After about 15 minutes, the truck shut off, and then I got back in, and it started up normally. I guess I’ll take it to the service center tomorrow and see what’s up.”

This is definitely an odd situation; however, making things even more bizarre, Kyle says he finally took his truck to Tesla service, and the EV maker couldn’t figure out what happened.

He writes…

“It’s been driving well since. Took it to the service center and they did an inspection and said everything was okay and they couldn’t identify an issue.”

Below his post, Kyle shared a picture of his Cybertruck stopped in the middle of the road with a message that reads “Pull Over Safely, Vehicle Shutting Down” on his 18-inch center screen.

This is definitely not ideal, and looking at the comments, fellow Cybertruck owners shared a variety of opinions and views.

Hunter Smith, a fellow Cybertruck owner, points out that Kyle’s truck breaking down and then functioning again without Tesla being able to diagnose the problem raises suspicions of possible malicious interference.

Hunter suggests that an individual may have meddled with the Cybertruck to make it malfunction during the parade, with the intention of harming Tesla's reputation.

Hunter writes…

“I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist, but I'd consider that an attack to make Tesla look bad.”

This is definitely an interesting perspective; however, other Cybertruck owners have reported similar issues with their all-electric truck.

A fellow Cybertruck owner, Jonathan Joiner, writes…

“Did the error message say ‘rear steering disabled?’ My Cybertruck did the same thing. I think it was a combination of turning with torque and a battery level below 20%.”

Another Cybertruck owner, Joshua Davis, seconds this sentiment, writing…

“I found out my battery was at 12%. I was 2 miles from the charger. I pushed it in performance mode. Red errors showed up everywhere. I parked the truck. Got out, entered, and the issue was resolved.

Lesson learned: Even electric vehicles are vulnerable to low-voltage spikes.”

It appears that some Cybertruck owners are experiencing issues where their vehicle breaks down and then mysteriously starts working again.

Given these problems, fellow Cybertruck owner Tom Jacques recommends that these concerns be brought to Elon Musk’s attention.

Tom writes…

“Have you posted this issue on X, specifically on Elon’s account? It seems Tesla's quality control is getting worse.”

That is an interesting strategy to increase the Cybertruck’s reliability. However, please let me know what you think in the comments. Share your ideas by clicking the red “Add new comment” button below. Also, be sure to visit our site, torquenews.com/Tesla, regularly for the latest updates.
