Most manufacturers want to sell more of their product. Tesla has an overpriced product that is facing a lot of resistance and they are making it more difficult to buy?
Elon seems to be doing Ok for himself, he didn't accumulate that wealth by being foolish, I just don't see the logic in this "strategy".

I guess cult members never really see what everyone else in the World sees. Who in their right mind would purchase a vehicle they can't sell, built by a manufacturer plagued with issues (some issues which take MONTHS to resolve), many insurance companies won't even insure, and you have to plan a 1/2 day to "refuel"?

I will never buy a tesla or it's products cause of this exact reason, if you want to buy a car or truck, you have the money you ban me from buying, why? it shouldn't matter, your selling vehicles to make money, why turn it down, makes absolutely no sense, and I don't like the fact that they are able to shut your vehicle down when ever they please to, and won't even give you your money back so not you just have an expensive paper weight. they should be banned selling vehicles see how they would like that. I will never ever by tesla products even if it was Givin to me free of charge with a solar or electrical charging station I will refuse it and I stick by my words, go head tesla offer me it all free, or should I say Elan Musk, offer it to me for free and be surprised.

I'm astounded! I can't believe in America, you can buy a vehicle from a dealer, and with no special negotiations or discounts involved, and after purchase of dealers vehicle, the dealer can force you to own the vehicle for any length of time they choose! What's worse, is that you are binded to keeping the vehicle until tye dealer says it's OK to sell, or you won't be able to buy another vehicle from the same dealer! There must be an agreement in the contract for the purchase of the vehicle with some kind of clause staring the policy! However, I still can't believe it, and that every person buying one of the tesla cybertrunks agrees to this clause! I know I will never buy one, and the rest of you shouldn't either! I'm spending my money to buy your product, and I will sell or keep or trade or anything else I want to do with it, and if a dealer has a problem with that, I will be buying from a different dealer and product! No wonder Tesla is having problems selling the electric junk!

No one is going to tell me that I can or can't buy or sell my vehicle. Not even Elon Musk. Musk needs to know that his policies and attidute will drive him and his companies into the ground. I would never buy or own a Tesla car or ugly truck! Over priced, ugly design and one of the worst policies of ownership I have ever seen in automobile history.

I don't really see why this is blog worthy. You violated an agreement previously with them, and now surprised that they aren't prioritizing delivering you another product. 🤷‍♂️

My guess is he did it because the cyber truck was such the rage initially that he didn't want people buying them then turning around and selling them at double the price due to the high demand. Why should a private citizen profit more off a vehicle than the mfg of the car. But I learned long ago...NEVER buy any car that is the 1st edition. The 1st few years is when they try to get the bugs out then the better models are mfg after. Just like when they redo any model car. Never buy it when it's 1st released. Unless you want a lot of unexpected repair bills. The cyber trucks were hyped up BIG time...but I personally think they are extremely unattractive...& so far...very unreliable. But definitely interesting to look at. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
