Female Cybertruck owners share how driving this highly polarizing vehicle impacts their safety every day.

The conversation started with a post in the Cybertruck Owners Only Facebook group, where a woman asked her fellow Cybertruck enthusiasts if the vehicle puts them at greater risk on the road.

She wrote…

“For the ladies here with a Cybertruck... do you feel safe owning that car? Any advice for a woman who lives alone and works from home in an apartment complex? ”

Here, this Cybertruck enthusiast wants to buy the all-electric truck; however, because of the vehicle's divisive reputation, she is afraid it could put her in extra danger.

This is definitely concerning; however, looking at the comments, many female Cybertruck owners said they haven’t experienced significant harassment because of the truck.

A fellow Cybertruck owner, Tessa Stanford, writes…

“I’m nearing two years of ownership, and although I’ve encountered a few jerks, I’ve never felt unsafe. But like a previous comment said, keep your sentry mode on!”

Heather Muller, another owner, states…

“Yes, I feel safe owning a Cybertruck. Yes, there are delusional people out there (haters), but don’t let that stop you from getting a Tesla.”

Brittany Brown adds…

“Yes! At first, I was nervous, but it’s been fine. I do have a charger installed at my house. The Tesla community is so kind and helpful, so you should be good with the chargers. Also, keep Sentry Mode on!”

Sarah Petty, another owner, shares…

“I’ve had a Tesla for many years. Realtor, mom of two, the Cybertruck is my work truck and mom car.

I supercharge at least once a day, sometimes twice (realtor life), but I’ve never felt unsafe.

I just enter an address, press a button, and let this vehicle drive me. I’m currently sitting at a supercharger as I type this. I liked my Model X better, but for what I do, the Cybertruck is more practical. Still, I’ve never felt unsafe in any Tesla.”

Sarah Hollandsworth, another owner, states…

“I was a little worried about jerks, but so far, it’s been fine for me.”

Toni Hupko, another owner, writes…

"I’ve had mine for a year. There are still a few jerks out there, but I feel safe!"

MV Melillo, another owner, adds…

“I feel safer, actually. If anyone tries anything, I’ve got Mr. Springfield, a very loud nautical air horn, a zappity zap, and a pepper shot with a 13 ft range.

Most of the time, I don’t look like an easy target, but I do get dressed up occasionally. My situational awareness is very high.

I did follow a guy into a dinner show after he gave me the bird while I was backing my Cybertruck into a parking space, just to let him know I could make him famous. But I normally avoid confrontations.

I’ve got an EVject if needed, but I always ask Grok to guide me to a low-crime area to charge if possible.

Remember, girls, it’s very tough for someone to break into a Cybertruck to get to you, and you can use the Cybertruck to defend yourself.

Never open your door; always leave space in front of stoplights.”

Living in fear is definitely not ideal; however, it seems like women Cybertruck owners mostly don’t face serious danger, aside from occasional negative reactions.
