The New Hyundai Kona and Kona N Just Got Teased

The Hyundai Kona will be all-new and available in an N Line trim for the first time. The full vehicle did not get revealed, that is coming in a few weeks.

Hyundai just shared a small glimpse of what the next generation Hyundai Kona will look like. Hyundai wants the new Kona to be urban and sporty, the typical buzz words used in this industry. But I must say, for once the vehicle does live up to those words.

The new Kona has a wider stance than before, and similar to the Kia K5, the Kona will geta shark-inspired nose for an overall sleek look. The car will feature new DRLs and even a front skid plate to give the vehicle an “armored” look.

For the first time, the Kona will receive the N Line treatment, which comes with an aerodynamic design. A new front bumper with low-set air intake will get featured on the Kona N-Line. Corner fins and lean crease lines will join this new bumper. Hyundai wants this Kona N Line to appeal to a broader range of customers. It makes sense because we live in a crossover mecca now, and the Kona N Line will most likely overshadow the upcoming Elantra N Line.

New Hyundai Kona Conclusion

The current Kona is excellent. Hyundai hit the mark with the driving dynamics and the refinement of it. Handling was a priority with the current Kona, and the car delivered so I can only imagine what the N Line would be. I’m excited to see the full unveiling because the new Kona looks like it could get featured in Transformers.
