South Korea is a Fantastic Next Giga Factory Location For Tesla

Tesla should build its next giga factory in South Korea - Here is why.

Tesla: Giga Factory in South Korea

South Korea is a fantastic location for Tesla to announce its next Giga factory. Recently, there was a meeting that took place because Elon Musk wanted it to. It was between Yoon Suk Yeol and Elon Musk. Yoon asked Elon Musk to build a Giga factory in South Korea and even said, "Should Tesla decide to invest, we'll provide active support in terms of location, workforce, and taxes."

This meeting took place in Washington, D.C. and was a very important meeting. Some have said that this is what the President of the U.S. should be doing is leading these types of conversations, but instead, Elon Musk is meeting with people from other countries to further the advancement of sustainable Energy.

A Giga factory in South Korea remains an interesting and leading candidate for Tesla's next announcement, and it makes sense, as South Korea is a very technologically minded country and many would be honored to work for Tesla there.

I think the Giga factory would be built just to the west of Seoul, and the reason for this would be that it would make it easy to export vehicles with the factory being very close to the coast.

Why Tesla Should Built It There

There are many reasons to build a Giga factory in Seoul, South Korea. First, it's another location in a very densely populated location of the world - Asia.

South Korea has about 55 million people living in it today, and most of those who can afford a Tesla there would buy one. It is also populated very densely, and this makes it a terrific location for an eventual Robotaxi network.

A Robotaxi functions much better on city streets, such as a location like San Francisco, because it is a much easier environment to understand and drive in. Plus, the rides are much more economical as in other locations, such as the U.S. where freeway driving happens a lot, the battery uses a lot more Energy.

Having a Robotaxi network in a densely populated area is a great idea, and I think this is the main reason for Tesla to build a Giga factory there.

Tesla can also export its vehicles from this location to China, Japan, and Australia, making it another export hub. The nice thing about South Korea as opposed to Japan is that Korea is attached to Asia and to export to Asia doesn't require using any ships.

South Korea, while it's "attached to Asia" is basically an island because of North Korea so everything will need to be moved by ships. Also,
