40 Cybertrucks Seen at Giga Texas As Tesla Continues To Ramp To Volume Production: Expect To See 100 Soon

40 Cybertrucks can be seen at Giga Texas, signaling that Tesla is continuing to ramp production - expect to see 100 soon. Tesla has also been emailing early reservation holders to configure their Foundation series Cybertruck.

40 Cybertrucks At Giga Texas

Tesla is continuing to ramp production of the Cybertruck as there are now 40 seen at Giga Texas. I think Tesla is going to surprise people with how fast they will ramp the Cybertruck to 250,000 per year and beyond. The Cybertruck has shown to be a superior vehicle in safety and towing capability.

Tesla is sending specific texts to early Cybertruck reservation holders as well as sending emails to configure "Foundation Series" Cybertrucks, which is a fancy way of saying a first batch of Cybertrucks with special engravings and features that will never be made again once Tesla is done with them.

Seeing 40 Cybertrucks at Giga Texas, via the drone flight of Joe Tegtmeyer is a good sign. The most I have seen before this is about 20. It means Tesla is making progress in their production plans. Due to not having to paint the Cybertruck and the simplicity of the exoskeleton not having any curves, I think Tesla will ramp production faster than people think.

The Cybertruck has been seen being driven by many celebrity personalities, including Serena Williams and Alexia Cohanian, giving Tesla an abundance of free advertising.

Expect To See 100 Cybertrucks Soon

I expect to see 100 Cybertrucks soon and a parking lot full of them after that. When I think about the numbers Tesla needs to do to get to 250,000 Cybertrucks per year and 500,000, it basically comes down to this.

  • For 250,000 Cybertrucks per year, that's 685 per day
  • For 500,000 Cybertrucks per year, that's 1,370 per day

Tesla is nowhere near that right now. However, seeing 40 Cybertrucks at once is a step in the right direction. When Tesla gets to 100 in the parking lot, which I think will happen in a couple of months, that's an even bigger step.

Eventually, there are going to be 100's of Cybertrucks in the parking lot, and then thousands. It behooves Tesla to ramp production of this vehicle as quickly as possible (with high quality) because there are about 2 million Cybertruck preorders.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for posts from Joe and the pictures he takes with his flying drone. Tesla is ramping the Cybertruck quickly, and when we see hundreds of these in the parking lot, we'll know Tesla is getting close to their 250,000 per year goal.

When we see thousands of Cybertruck in the parking lot, I'm guessing most of those who reserved their Cybertruck between 2019 and 2021 will start to get confirmation to configure their Cybertruck and take delivery. Tesla is requiring an additional $1,000 deposit that goes toward the payment to configure a Cybertruck right now.
