Several Cybertruck owners are sharing the injuries they have sustained due to the truck’s sharp edges.
A Cybertruck owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, started the conversation by sharing a recent injury he had sustained to his finger.
Despite having his finger cut open, the Cybertruck owner says he still loves his truck and considers these injuries as “just Tesla battle scars.”
The still surprisingly huge Tesla fan shared his story on the Cybertruck Owner Only group on Facebook.
He writes…
“Like a dummy, I got my finger stuck in the left rear door... hands were full, and I wasn't paying attention. Just warn your kids and family that the doors are very sharp and to be careful.
Wondering how Tesla got the truck approved with all the sharp edges? Still love my Cybertruck, though. I call them Tesla battle scars.”
Below his post, the Cybertruck owner shared a picture of his hand showing a deep cut he sustained on his middle finger & blood running down the sink.
This is definitely not ideal; however, looking at the comments, multiple other Cybertruck owners shared that they, too, have sustained similar injuries.
A fellow Cybertruck owner, Eduardo Nickolas Adamson, writes…
“Today must have been the day for Cybertruck injuries because I did the same thing. I’ve never before caught my finger in a car door, and then I did it for the first time with my Cybertruck, which has the sharpest edges.”
Below his post, Eduardo shared a picture of his finger after the accident. Like the first Cybertruck owner’s injury, he also cut his middle finger and included a photo with blood running down the sink.
This is definitely concerning; however, additional Cybertruck owners have also come forward, sharing the injuries they sustained on their fingers due to the truck’s sharp edges.
A third Cybertruck owner, Steve Ramsey, says he has also fallen victim to the truck’s stainless steel. He adds that after 3 months, his finger still hasn’t healed properly.
Steve writes…
“Been there. Done that.”
Below his post, Steve shared a picture of his hands showing the injury he sustained three months ago and the X-ray he took at that time.
He also included a picture he took today, which shows his fingernails still bruised and dark from the damage.
So far, all the Cybertruck owners have sustained a single injury; however, another Cybertruck owner, Sean Moss, says he has been injured by his truck twice.
Sean writes…
“I feel you, brother. It's happened to me twice.”
Below his post, Sean included a picture of his index finger showing the fingernail turned completely dark following the accident.
This is bad enough; however, a Cybertruck owner and mother, Tina Ennocenti, says that the same injury happened to her 8-year-old daughter.
Tina writes…
“Happened to my 8-year-old, now she hates the truck.”
A sixth Cybertruck owner, Christy E Weinstein, writes…
“We had a kid hit her head on the side of our Cybertruck. Not a pretty sight. I agree-waaaay too sharp on the metal of this truck.”
A seventh Cybertruck owner, Nelson Hernandez, says he’s thankful to still have his finger after he cut it on the truck’s sharp edges.
Nelson writes…
“I did that two weeks ago. . . Thankful I didn't lose my fingers. Hurt so bad! Cut both sides.”
This is definitely not ideal; however, a few Cybertruck owners came to the truck’s defense, arguing that the accidents could’ve happened with any vehicle.
A fellow Cybertruck owner, Mike Fleener, writes…
“Could happen with any car… don’t make this a Cybertruck issue, be real and make something else, like don’t be a moron issue… don’t close the door on your hand, dummy.”
Another Cybertruck owner, Cliff Marano, writes…
“People trip over their own shoelaces, too, but they haven’t been banned.”
A third Cybertruck owner, Ifan Farabee, writes… ·
“These are warrior scars. Welcome to the club,”
