Elon Musk Categorically Denies SEC & DOJ Investigation Claims That He Misappropriated Tesla Funds To Build a Glass House

The Biden administration has once again opened an investigation into Elon Musk & his companies. The new SEC & DOJ investigation claims Musk used millions of dollars from Tesla to build himself a glass house. Musk has categorically denied all allegations.

Elon Musk’s increasingly centrist (some would argue right-wing) political tilt of late has not done much to endear him to the upper echelon of the Democratic party which is currently in charge of the executive branch.

Musk’s fallout with the current administration started when Biden early on in his term left Musk out of an electric vehicle summit that he had gathered at the White House. At the event, Biden refused to mention Tesla and went even as far as to crown General Motors CEO Mary Barra as the leader of the EV revolution.

The rift between the democratic party and Elon Musk has grown even wider since Elon Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion last year. Musk during his Twitter acquisition vowed to prioritize free speech to the full extent of the law and as his first action as Twitter CEO restored several mostly conservative-leaning individuals whose access to Twitter had been restricted or were downright banned from using the social media platform.

Musk’s actions have led to him getting increasingly embraced by the Republican party. However, in the process, as he threatens to unsettle the status quo, Musk has also made some powerful enemies at the top of the government.

Three of Musk’s companies, Tesla, X (Twitter), and SpaceX are in the process of or have been investigated by the Biden administration’s Justice Department in only the past few weeks.

X ran into trouble with the government after refusing to hand over to prosecutors former President Donald Trump’s Twitter information, and this week, the Department of Justice sued SpaceX for discriminating against refugees in the company’s hiring process and, today, it was revealed that Musk’s other company, Tesla, is being investigated for what might be the most bizarre investigations into the tech billionaire’s companies.

Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal ran an article claiming that “Manhattan federal prosecutors are investigating Tesla’s use of company funds on a secret project that had been described internally as a house for Chief Executive Elon Musk”

Continuing Wall Street Journal writes “The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has sought information about personal benefits paid to Musk, how much Tesla spent on the project – which called for a specious glass structure to be built in Austin, Texas, area and what it was for”

WSJ also added that in addition to the Department of Justice Investigation, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has also opened a civil investigation regarding the same topic of Musk misappropriating Tesla funds to build himself a glass house in Austin, Texas.

Although the acquisition might seem bizarre on the face of it, (Elon Musk is currently the richest man in the world and is worth $244 billion and he clearly isn’t short of funds to basically steal from Tesla) this is not the first time we have heard that Musk has used Tesla funds to build himself a glass house.

The story broke last year when Bloomberg reported that Tesla has ordered millions of dollars of construction material to be used for Elon Musk’s glass house. Musk likely realizing the absurdity of the claims had largely decided to ignore the issue.

However, Musk’s silence on the issue has led some to doubt whether the CEO has indeed used Tesla funds to build himself a glass house, and today, Musk has finally broken his silence and has come out to categorically deny all the claims in the DOJ & SEC investigation into the matter.

Musk responded to a segment by Fox News host Jesse Waters that said “We have a hunch these investigations have less to do about glass houses and more to do with Biden exacting revenge on Musk for buying Twitter, the greatest psyop Democrats have ever owned."

Musk in response wrote, “I’m not building a house of any kind, let alone a glass one!” Musk also added “This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard. Where is this house!? Metaphors don’t count!”

Musk has famously said that he has sold all his houses and currently, his primary residence is a spartan $50,000 prefabricated home.

With the SEC and DOJ investigation just beginning currently, this is all the information we’ve regarding the issue. However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated if more information unfolds in this bizarre saga.

So what do you think? Happy to hear Elon Musk categorically deny all claims that he has used Tesla resources to build himself a glass house? Also, do you think there are any political motivations for all the recent SEC & DOJ investigations into Musk’s companies? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
