Find Porsche news from today and latest stories covering Porsche cars from expert Torque News reporters. Since 1931, Porsche has been designing cars for the people. Starting out as a small vehicle development and consulting company, they designed vehicles for the German government before and during WWII. From tanks and equipment to the Volkswagen Beetle, Porsche has had its place in history. Porsche’s first complete car came from the underpinnings of said Beetle, and became the 356. Porsche continued developing cars for motorsport and eventually the rest of the world. The company found huge success in the 911 model of 1968.
