Tesla Cybertruck Shows Off-Roading Prowess at Sedona Arizona, Proves Why it Should be the Official Vehicle for Mars When We Eventually Colonize the Red Planet

New pictures of the Cybertruck at the Sedona off-road center look literally out of this world. The Cybertruck shows off its off-roading prowess while at the same time proving it should be the official vehicle for Mars.

Tesla appears to be continuing the Cybertruck’s arduous testing regiment despite the truck starting customer deliveries at the end of last month.

The EV maker is testing the all-electric truck in all conditions from the freezing temperatures and snowy conditions in Wyoming all the way to the arid climate and off-roading situations in the Mojave desert in California, and everywhere in between.

The Cybertruck, given its durable stainless steel exoskeleton, industry-leading 17 inches of ground clearance, 2.6 seconds 0 to 60 time, steer-by-wire variable gain steering system, and 4-wheel steering, the truck is shaping up to be the best vehicle for every imaginable surface situation.

Thanks to “Wade Mode” where the Cybertruck will pressurize the battery pack by routing air from the air suspension, the Cybertruck also appears to be the best vehicle to take on water. Elon Musk has recently confirmed that Tesla will be offering a Mod that will turn the Cybertruck into a boat.

All the different situations we’ve seen the Cybertruck testing so far have all been exciting. We’ve seen Jay Leno take the truck rock crawling and water fording, and rather unfortunately, we’ve also seen the Cybertruck getting rescued by an F-150 after the all-electric truck got stranded off-roading.

However, a new Cybertruck off-roading footage appears to help the Cybertruck save face in light of its recent F-150 embarrassment.

In an apparent attempt to dial in the Cybertruck’s off-roading characteristics, Tesla has sent 5 Cybertruck to the Sedona off-road center in Arizona. All Cybertrucks present at the vehicle park are driven by Tesla engineers and they appear to be fine-tuning the truck’s off-roading software.

This on its own is exciting, however, some of the pictures of the Cybertruck at the Sedona off-road center appear literally out of this world.

At the park, not only does the Cybertruck overcome some particularly challenging off-roading situations but, the truck also appears as though it was driving in the barren Martian desert.

Elon Musk, with his SpaceX venture, is working day and night to “make life multi-planetary.” SpaceX has set its sights on Mars as the first planet outside Earth for human beings to settle.

And the pictures of the Cybertruck at Sedona, if you ignore the vegetation in the background appear as though they were taken on the red planet.

This might seem like too pie in the sky idea, however, SpaceX is making very good progress towards establishing life on Mars and it doesn’t appear as it would be too long before we see Cybertrucks driving on the red planet.

Also, Elon Musk has already sent his personal first-generation Tesla Roadster into an orbit around Mars and the Cybertruck and the starship rocket that will go to Mars are built from the same stainless steel alloy which all lines up to the Cybertruck on Mars.

Currently, despite the Cybertruck’s capabilities, the truck is still confined to surface and watery conditions here on Earth, however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted once the all-electric truck becomes interplanetary.

So what do you think? Excited to see the Cybertruck handling the challenging off-road situations at the Sedona vehicle park? Also, how long do you think until we the Cybertruck on the red planet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
