Tesla Installs Access Control System At Giga Berlin Ahead Of Elon Musk Visit

New security is in place at Tesla Giga Berlin before the CEO Elon Musk's visit.

Amidst the new structures going up around Gigafactory Berlin, a new security feature was installed. This feature is a single access control system that will enable the site security to precisely monitor the people who come in and out of the factory. Tesla seems to be focusing itself a little more intently on the security of its factory site since a few days ago a Russian tourist tried to corrupt an employee to hack the Tesla fleet. We also saw some security concerns when Gigafactory Austin site security frowned upon Tesla fans trying to film the building progress with drones. This information was brought to us by @Gf4Tesla.

We also received information that Giga Berlin was improving its sustainability through the switching of the central heating system plans. Originally a gas-fuelled heat system was to be used, but now the gas will be changed for heat pumps, likely using hot air since geothermal requires deep drillings up to 60 meters and Giga Berlin is on top of a protected groundwater area.

Elon Musk on his way
These new measures come to us just before the visit of Elon Musk to the Gigafactory 4 building site. He has just landed in Stuttgart, Germany. It is suspected that he will first visit CureVac, since Tesla, as a side project, is building RNA micro-factories for CureVac & possibly others according to a tweet from Elon.

He will then go over to Giga Berlin to check up on the progress and construction effort. His visit to the site might also be one of the factors that have encouraged the build of the access control system. Since he is so active on Twitter it will be interesting to hear information about Giga Berlin's future. Maybe we will hear some news about the illustrious Tesla Rave Cave that is supposed to be built underneath the German factory and have an epic sound system. Apparently, the CEO also made a stop in the UK, this may just have been a non-business related stop although it could also be a possible location spotting trip for a right handed steering wheel Gigafactory.

It may sound boring, except this car was cruising in space. Since then Humbert has been following the EV automaker closely.
