I have 100k on my 3.5 eco. Main thing change oil often. 5k pure synthetic. Do not listen to dealer or owner manual on oil viscosity and intervals. No such thing as life time trans fluid. 30k is good for today complicated trans. Dealer needs you to mess up your truck so you pay to fix or trade for new. Its business. Do your homework.

It's just a truck. People have been convinced by auto makers that a car, truck or vehicle defines who they are or how they are perceived.
That's dealership marketing and it works on a lot of people.
Truth is (from mu perspective) that person would be pretty shallow.
If you have a net worth of 4-5 million, no other debt and can write a check for it, sure go ahead and splurge.
However most people buy the monthly payment and buy into the vehicle defines who they are.
This guy is a perfect example of that.
A car doesn't make you cool and if a woman is interested in you because of your new tundra, you've got a lot more issues than loving your truck.

If the tires fit the wheel wells he's actually maintaining the intended structural integrity and payload abilities of the truck, lift kits lose tongue weight, they lose payload weight and they lose pulling capacity, so who wrote the article?? I would have asked what tires, what size and was a lift necessary?
I wouldn't assume that they're driving around with AT tires rubbing incredibly loudly totally unbeknownst to them.
I have a vehicle that can accommodate bigger OD tires with only a melt mod of the well.
So I know personally that a lift isn't always necessary, and bigger OD tires always = greater clearance; even if minimal.
