Mazda CX-5 Wins Wheels TV 2016 POV Award

Wheels TV in cooperation with the New England Motor Press (NEMPA) has named the 2013-2014 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover the winner of its Pre-Owned Vehicle of the Year Award for 2016. The annual award is presented to the single vehicle in the entire U.S. market that has the best overall value as a pre-owned vehicle.

The 2013-2014 Mazda CX-5 “offers much more than good looks on a light-weight platform,” according to Wheels TV. With outstanding long-term reliability and top scores in consumer satisfaction, makes it a great value, not just in the compact crossover segment, but the entire American car market.

In addition to being a blast to drive, this non-hybrid vehicle is so efficient; it was a finalist for Green Car of the Year at the LA Auto Show. The car is also an IIHS Top Safety Pick.

Wheels TV and NEMPA members collaborate, in person, to choose the POV of the Year Winner. The process takes many hours and those that vote are experts in the auto industry having been vehicle testers for many years.
