Here is a rundown of the awards the Ram has won before it even shipped:

2019 Ram 1500 Best of Show Award - New York International Auto Show
The Ram 1500 was the best new vehicle at the New York International Auto Show according to Cars.com. This award is earned by the vehicle that shows the highest levels of innovation, overall show impact and execution of claims. The editors at Cars.com said, “Ram climbed to the top of the heap for its blend of capability, comfort, technology and efficiency.” It should be noted that GM and Ford also showed off all-new trucks at the New York Auto Show.

2019 Ram 1500 Popular Mechanics - Truck of the year
The 2019 Ram 1500 earned a spot on the Popular Mechanics list of best trucks this past month. Editor Ezra Dyer noted that the Ram has the best technology, best aerodynamics, and singled out the fact that "There’s a heat exchanger for the rear axle that uses engine coolant to warm up the differential fluid and reduce friction." High praise from the folks who know a lot about work trucks.

2019 Ram 1500 - Wards Best Interior Winner
Go big or go home. The Ram's new 12-inch infotainment interface has been getting a lot of attention, and now has helped the new Ram 1500 take home a coveted award. Wards says, "The giant, vertical 12-in. (305-mm) screen isn’t only a sight to behold for its bold hues and graphics, but its menu structure is logical and easy to comprehend while the vehicle is in motion." The Ram 1500 shared the interior award with other impressive vehicles including the Range Rover Velar, Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, and Kia Stinger GT.
