Sinister New Trim for 2024 Toyota Corolla Family

This is the time of year when most auto manufacturers will tell us what is upcoming and new for the 2024 model year.

For Toyota, we have already seen the debut of 2024 Grand Highlander. We also have a reveal date of May 19th for the all-new Toyota Tacoma.

And today we learn about something new for the 2024 Corolla family.

2024 Toyota Corolla Changes

Toyota announced this morning the return of Corolla Nightshade for 2024 Corolla Sedan and Corolla Hatchback. This includes the 2024 Corolla Hybrid as well.

Nightshade is based on Corolla SE grade. Look for dark and sinister black accents all around the vehicles. These include mesh gloss-black front grille and black badging, side rocker panels, power outside mirrors, shark fin antenna, lower diffuser, and rear lip spoiler.

The 2024 Corolla Hatchback Nightshade features an eye-catching large black vented sport wing. Talk about making a strong first impression.

Oh, and statement-making 18-inch bronze-finished wheels come standard on Corolla Sedan, Corolla Hybrid, and Corolla Hatchback.

2024 Toyota Corolla Colors

The sedan and hybrid models are offered in Ice Cap (the new Super White), Classic Silver Metallic, and Midnight Black Metallic.

Corolla Hatchback Nightshade Edition is available in two-tone (Wind Chill Pearl with Midnight Black Metallic roof and Classic Silver Metallic with Midnight Black Metallic roof) and all-black Midnight Black Metallic.

2024 Toyota Corolla Engines

Corolla Sedan 2024 and Corolla Hatchback come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 169 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. torque. Sedan will average 34 miles per gallon and Hatchback brings 35 MPG to the table.

Corolla Hybrid will give drivers 47 MPG combined. It produces 138 horsepower with its combination of a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine and two electric motor generators. Hybrid is available both in front-wheel drive and electronic on-demand all-wheel drive.

2024 Corolla Release Date

Toyota plans for 2024 Toyota Corolla to begin reaching dealerships sometime around Fall of 2023. Pricing and other specifications and details will become available later in the year as well.
