First 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Shipments Have Arrived

One of the most impressive Toyota model premieres in the past year, in my opinion, has been the 2024 Grand Highlander.

This midsize SUV actually approaches large SUV status, considering it is 6 ½ inches longer than the current Highlander. It also accommodates three full rows of tall passengers, with good legroom and headroom in all three rows. Plus, it has what Toyota calls “ample cargo space”, and it can fit seven pieces of carry-on luggage behind the third row (I plan to test this in a future video soon).

If you have been waiting for a Grand Highlander, you may have some good news coming.

2024 Grand Highlander Release Date

Many dealerships across the country have begun receiving their first Grand Highlander shipments.

I am a member of the Facebook forum “2024 Toyota Grand Highlander” and this group is a great resource for people interested in this Grand Highlander. I have noticed several salespeople in the group posting that their dealerships either have gotten, or will get, their first shipments in the next few weeks.

This utilizes a 2.4-liter turbo with electric motor power, producing 362 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. torque. It is swift, smooth, quiet, and comfortable. You may absolutely love it (and the pricing is good too).

But there are two other powertrains you can select too.

You may choose from the gasoline-only 2.4-liter turbo (265 horsepower) or the Grand Highlander hybrid engine (2.5-liter and two electric motors to deliver 243 net horsepower).

When to Get Toyota Grand Highlander?

If you are interested, I would suggest working with a local Toyota dealership you trust to find the ideal vehicle for you.

You will probably have to leave a deposit of some amount, depending on various dealership policies.

I might also suggest being flexible with your preferred specifications, options, and colors. For example, if you tell your dealership you only want a Storm Cloud color Grand Highlander, they might not contact you if a similar Wind Chill Pearl one becomes available. The more choices and possibilities you give your dealership to look for, the sooner you can potentially get one.
