Jeep’s eighth limited-edition release in its Twelve 4 Twelve Wrangler series is inspired by the original 1941 Willys MB. However, the 2027 version includes all the latest improvements in design and capability. The new “Sarge” package has the Jeep color ’41 Green accents and heritage detailing throughout both the 2027 Wrangler and Gladiator. The interior colors are both Drab Green and Cattle Tan. The special graphics and badging are found in both the Wrangler and the Gladiator Sarge editions.
“The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Sarge limited editions reflect how we honor our Jeep brand heritage, not by looking backward, but by carrying its values forward,” said Bob Borderdorf, Jeep brand CEO. “It’s about purposeful design, authentic details and building vehicles meant to be relied on, whether navigating demanding terrain or everyday roads, while staying true to our roots and meeting the expectations of our customers.”

The Jeep Wrangler Sarge's exterior is inspired by the iconic Willys MB, with authentic ‘41 accents. First introduced in 2020, the ‘41 Green has grown from a limited-run color into a defining symbol of the Jeep brand. The olive-drab color is immediately identifiable as Army green. The Sarge package is available on both two-door and four-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Willys trims.
The 2027 Wrangler and Gladiator Sarge trims blend heritage accents with the most modern rugged off-road capability. The vehicles have best-in-class approach angles and unsurpassed departure angles. The current Jeep Wrangler is a descendant of the vehicles that answered the nation’s call in its time of greatest need. Jeep has evolved into a symbol of freedom, capability and national pride. Consistently recognized as one of America’s most patriotic brands, Jeep honors the service members who protected and continue to protect our country.

The Cattle Tan and Drab Green accents reinforce the instrument panel surround, door armrests and center console. Hard‑wearing Soul Cloth protects seating surfaces and the mid‑instrument panel for added resilience.
Heritage-inspired, easter eggs include the iconic 1941 cup holder plaque, star medallion shift knob and HVAC pad prints featuring the iconic seven-slot grille. Rear swing gate plaque reinforces Wrangler Sarge’s connection to Jeep brand history.
Value-Added Package Makes Sarge More Affordable
Orders for the new 2027 Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator Sarge models will open later this summer with a Wrangler four-door starting MSRP of $100 over a comparably equipped Willys or Rubicon model. The 2027 Gladiator Sarge has a starting MSRP of $500 over a comparably equipped Willys and Rubicon model.
The Sarge is the eighth limited edition of the Wrangler in its Twelve for Twelve campaign.
Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve Campaign
As I reported, Jeep announced in late 2025 that it would make 2026 the “Year of the Wrangler” with special editions debuting monthly. The editions have focused on affordability, often stripping away luxury appointments while focusing on performance and capability.
Jeep's seventh Wrangler Special Edition was timed to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler America250 edition highlights the red, white and blue and carries a unique Captain America spare tire cover, thanks to a partnership with Marvel Comics. Both Marvel and Jeep are celebrating 85 years in business. Jeep is also celebrating being selected as America’s “most patriotic brand” for the 25th year in a row.
“The Jeep Wrangler America250 is built the Jeep way, rooted in Willys heritage, engineered for real-world capability and unapologetically proud of the freedom that the Jeep brand represents,” said Bob Broderdorf, CEO, Jeep brand. “Trail proven from the factory floor, this special edition pairs bold American design with authentic off-road performance, celebrating Wrangler’s legacy as America turns 250.”
Jeep’s sixth Wrangler Special Edition was already popular with many Jeep enthusiasts. The Jeep Wrangler Rewind concept was so well-received at last year’s Easter Jeep Safari that Jeep gave the retro design a spot in the lineup. The company also decided to give the 2026 Jeep Gladiator the same special trim. You may have noticed that crocheted sweaters and brightly colored pants are in fashion once again. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rewind is a throwback to that period of time with bright colors and lots of retro interior touches.
Jeep's fifth special edition is the Wrangler Rockslide, that features three different shades of blue. Blue Agave, Jean Blue and Indigo Blue accents add layers of color to the 2026 Wrangler Rockslide inside and out. The blue highlights create a design theme. Anvil body‑color roof and matching grille surround carry the layered look to the exterior. Standard steel rock rails, featured on a Wrangler Sahara for the first time since 2017, included as part of the Sahara‑only Rockslide content.
The Jeep Wrangler’s fourth special edition is designed to thrill off-roaders who want true HEMI power at a more affordable price. It may anger some people who bought the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition because the 2026 version is $30,000 cheaper. Of course, the 2026 Wrangler Willys 392 doesn’t have all of the upgrades and luxury appointments of the Final Edition, but most Wrangler buyers don’t care. In fact, many have complained about too much technology was being forced on them as the prices climbed higher and higher. Many Wrangler buyers just want a vehicle that they can hit the trails and have fun with. It appears that the 2026 Wrangler Willys 392 is exactly that vehicle.
The Jeep Wrangler’s third special edition debuted in January and is a commemorative 85th Anniversary edition. This special Wrangler harkens back to some earlier Jeep Americana with plaid upholstery and other design touches. The celebration also extends to the Jeep Gladiator 85th Anniversary edition, bringing the same heritage‑inspired designs to the industry's only Wrangler-inspired mid-size pickup.
Jeep’s second special edition throws it all the way back to 1941 with special detailing honoring the classic CJ-Universal and its iconic Arctic White top. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Whitecap has a white painted hardtop and grille making it look retro. The special edition is only available on the Sahara and Rubicon trims, so while it looks old-school, it will have the most modern off-road equipment.
The first special edition was the Wrangler Moab 392. The 2026 Wrangler 392 is almost exactly $20,000 dollars cheaper than the 2025 model. The head of Jeep is using phrases like “no frills” and “back to basics” to describe the more affordable HEMI-powered Moab Wranglers. “Our community made their voices heard, and we listened. The 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 will remain a defining force within the Jeep lineup,” said Bob Broderdorf, Jeep’s CEO.
