Ford is upping the ante when it comes to extreme off-roading, racing and performance. Ford has invested heavily in its off-roading Bronco, F-150 and Ranger Raptor models, challenging some of the traditional segment leaders, like the Jeep Wrangler. Off-roading has grown exponentially over the last few years. Ford sponsors programs teaching drivers about safety out on the trails as well as how to perform some of the popular stunts. This year’s Raptor Rally, planned for Lake Havasu, Arizona,  appears to be the most challenging yet. Going out on the trails requires more than just buying the vehicles, you have to learn to operate them safely. A wise friend once told me, “If you don’t know how to handle a four-wheel-drive, it means you will get into trouble four times faster.” That is why Ford is committed to making sure it provides opportunities like the Raptor Rally to teach people how to off-road safely and responsibly.

Third Annual Raptor Rally

This exclusive two-day event is for F-150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor, and Ranger Raptor owners and guests. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Passenger guests must be at least 13 years old. The Raptor Rally will take place in Lake Havasu, Arizona, October 16th and 17th, with early registration and VIP activities on October 15th. Raptor owners are encouraged to bring their vehicles and train with instructors on jumping and off-roading. There are also tickets available for Raptor owners who don’t want to bring their trucks or SUVs.

One of the most popular events is learning how to jump your Raptor without hurting your truck or SUV.

“Experience the exhilaration of jumping your Raptor while developing proper technique to safeguard against potential damage. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or looking to amp up your off-road capabilities, this exercise will elevate your skills to new heights. Buckle up and prepare to defy gravity! As a bonus, Ford will capture the moment in a souvenir photo.” Two jumps are allowed for each registered vehicle.

Hot Lap with a Pro Driver

“Buckle up for the ultimate adrenaline rush. Ride shotgun as a professional driver pushes the limits on an off-road hot lap. Experience raw power, precision handling, and rugged terrain like never before in this heart-pounding adventure.” VIP ticketholders are guaranteed to get a hot lap. General admission ticketholders can register for a chance to win a hot lap.

Practice Off-Roading with an Expert Instructor

Step into the driver’s seat and take on the Baja Loop, an off-road circuit inspired by the punishing terrain and high-speed demands of desert racing. This course lets you accelerate across open stretches, navigate sweeping turns, and power through uneven terrain designed to test both driver and machine. With expert instructors riding alongside you, you’ll learn how to confidently handle speed, control, and momentum in an authentic off-road environment.”

Enjoy Off-Roading with Raptor Owners from All Over the Country

This year, Ford will have five off-road trails that depart from Standard Wash. The trails feature wide, open tracks with a mix of loose dirt, light sandy washes, and gradual elevation changes. Drivers will navigate steady ascents and descents across ridge tops with occasionally difficult turns. Sections of long, flowing curves allow for increased speed in areas with consistent traction.

The Raptor Rally also offers a Raptor show, vendor displays and  meet and greet events with professional drivers and instructors. Ford’s off-road racing teams will also be on hand. Fans will also have plenty of opportunities to meet new friends from all over the country. Tickets range from $150 for attendees who aren’t bringing their vehicles, up to $1000 for VIP access to all events. Ford also provides a list of available lodging so fans may see lots of Raptor owners at the hotels. Ford has been working hard to build a community of off-roaders. The automaker sponsors a number of Bronco events, including the Bronco Off-Roadeo
