I just completed a nice long trip in my 2025 RAM Limited with the I6 HO. 1500 miles and averaged 20.1 for the first 500, 21.5 for the last 1000 miles. We drove from Fort Myers Florida to the East End of Long Island. Truck performed flawlessly. Air ride and drive assist were awesome as well! Glad I opted for the I6 from the Hemi. I know I’ll get crucified for that comment. Truck had tonnes of horsepower when it was required and it was a quiet smooth ride the whole time. Only glitch was a broken windshield from a rock. Going to drive back from Maine to Florida in September. Hope to have the same great results!

My mileage in my RSO Laramie was about 22 on a recent 4200 mile summer roadtrip through IN, IL, MO, KS, OK, TX, AZ, NM, UT, & CO. But, fed up with the electronic issues. Multiple times my Ram has thrown a code for no reason. First trip in it, back in the winter, all 4 tires lost pressure according to the screen pull over immediately. I used an analog gauge, (yes, I'm not a young guy anymore, I keep an old stick pressure guage in all my vehicles.) and pressure was fine. Over the air update fixes the glitch. This trip, stop immediately, your oil is over the maximum. This was 1200 miles after an oil change. Went to an Albuquerque CDJR, sensor malfunction the service scheduler says. It's a known issue. Known to whom? Reset by service fixes it. Get home same alert. Ran over the air update to see what was out there. No update, but alert went away. Also on the trip, UConnect kept losing connection with my phone that was plugged in to the fricking USB port. Ask service about it, oh yeah, it's a known issue. Again, to whom is this known? To me, now. I kept my HEMI truck when I bought the Hurricane. I guess it's a good thing. Fix the damn software, and speed up the display. I only wait 10-20 seconds to get the comfort settings open. Not that the heat index is 108, or anything.

Is this really something to brag about. My 2016 Hemi consistently gets over 21 with 167k miles and the typical hemi lifter noise. It's about as worn out as you can get driving 80 miles a day. Longer trips and I would expect even better.

In 2003 I bought a new Toyota Tundra with a naturally aspirated 3.4l v6. The window sticker, which I still have, 16 city, 20 hwy.
So it's so great to see that after 23 years, even with the price 4x, we're lucky to get even that same pathetic fuel economy in a turbo charged version of an even smaller displacement 6 cylinder engine. Bravo. Well done.

I own a 2012 F150 V8 Supercrew 6.5 ft bed 112k miles. I have been able to obtain up to 18 - 23 mpg on highway. Depends on wind direction. Conservative driving, low roll resistant tires, synthetic oil changes, tune up. Runs like new, quiet with decent ride.

The new engine has not been around long enough to prove itself. While the hemi 5.7 V8 is a proven 200,000+ mile engine.
If you are so sure of the new I6 twin turbo engine then give it at least a hundred thousand mile warranty.

I call bull. I have a 2025 SST and just did a round trip from Cleveland to the Outer Banks. 1200 miles and averaged 17.7 mpg if a 500 horse truck does that much better.They should dump the sst standard and make them all H.O I wasn't hauling or towing. For a 400 plus horsepower truck it feels very weak on the highway and jerky on starts. From light to light.
