Subaru will be at the 2022 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), which runs April 15-24, 2022, but what new vehicles will they bring? The NYIAS website says Subaru will bring the 2022 Crosstrek, Forester, Outback, Ascent, Legacy, WRX, and BRZ. Will Subaru have a surprise reveal?
Last year, Subaru was going to uncover the all-new next-generation 2022 WRX sports car, but the show was canceled due to COVID. This year, there was speculation Subaru would unveil the next-generation WRX STI performance sedan, but that all changed when the Japanese automaker announced the STI would not be built.

What will Subaru showcase this year at the NYIAS?
True to form, Subaru has been quiet about any new model reveals. Subaru of America announced they would bring the Subaru Loves Pets exhibit featuring pets from local animal organizations to the Javits Center at the 2022 New York International Auto Show.
Subaru has already made the big reveal of the next-generation 2022 BRZ sports coupe, all-new 2022 WRX, and 2023 Solterra EV, so what is next? Here is what Subaru could bring to the NYIAS.

Will Subaru reveal the next-generation 2023 Subaru Crosstrek?
The 2023 Crosstrek is the next vehicle to get a complete remodel, and customers in North America will get a new Crosstrek Wilderness rugged model to fill out the new sub-brand. The all-new next-generation Crosstrek should arrive in late 2022. The Crosstrek Wilderness is scheduled to make its dealer launch in early 2023.
2023 Subaru Outback
The 2023 Outback, in the fourth year of its life cycle, will get a refresh. Subaru upgrades its models with a new front fascia outside (headlights, bumper, hexagon grille) and unique interior upgrades with fabric changes inside and a new exterior color. The midsize SUV will also get new safety technology.
2023 Subaru Ascent
Subaru's Ascent 3-Row SUV is scheduled to refresh and arrives in the second half of 2022 as a 2023 model. Like the Outback, it will get a new front fascia outside (headlights, bumper, hexagon grille) and unique interior upgrades with fabric changes inside and a new exterior color. Reports not confirmed by Subaru say the Ascent could get a Wilderness trim level but would arrive after the 2023 model year.
2023 Subaru Impreza
The 2023 Subaru Impreza also gets a complete redesign. The next-generation 2023 Impreza will likely come with the new EyeSight X driver-assist safety technology. Recent reports not confirmed by Subaru say the compact car could get a new 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The all-new Impreza will arrive in early 2023.
2023 Subaru Legacy
Also, like the Outback, the 2023 Legacy will be in the fourth year of its life cycle. The sedan's upgrades should include a new front fascia outside (headlights, bumper, hexagon grille), unique interior upgrades with fabric changes inside, and a new exterior color. New models could arrive in the late summer of 2022 but will likely be delayed until this fall.
Subaru's next big reveal will be the next-generation 2023 Crosstrek subcompact SUV and the 2023 Crosstrek Wilderness trim level. Will the new all-wheel-drive model be unveiled at the 2022 New York International Auto Show? Stay tuned.
