New York man tries to sell 2010 Camaro SS, wife on eBay

Divorce can be messy, often resulting in items like sports cars being sold off as the couple splits up the assets but one guy from Lancaster, New York has gone to eBay in an effort to sell his 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS – or his wife – going so far as to offer up a side-by-side comparison of the two.

This humorous piece of news is thanks to eBay user wyliewalczykracing who seems to be going through some marital issues. From the sound of things in his eBay post, this scorned husband is looking to sell his 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS or his “soon to be ex-wife” although the direction of his posting suggests that he may soon be without both.

Wyliewalczykracing gave eBay bidders the option of his 2010 Camaro SS with less than 10,000 miles or his wife, who he points out has more than 10,000 miles. He opens up the descriptive portion of his eBay listing with this comment: HER or the CAR? Your Choice...But The Car is Better Looking & A Whole Lot Cheaper!

Next, he goes onto the specifications of the two and his low mileage 2010 Camaro SS is very well loaded up inside and out with the 6.2L LS3 V8 sending 426hp and 420lb-ft of torque to the 6-speed manual transmission. As the seller lists each of the features of his Camaro SS in an easy to read table, he lists the comparable features of his soon to be ex-wife on the other side of the table. Features of the Camaro like the RS Appearance Package are equaled by comments like “Gave Up on Appearance” and the Camaro’s Rally Stripe package in inferno orange is countered by the wife’s Baby Stripe package-in Stretch Mark White. It is a long list with quite a few items that are questionably unsafe for certain workplace environments (or home if you have a similar model wife) but comparions like the Camaro’s Precision Handling is compared to the fact that the wife is “loose on entry”.

The bidding began at $20,000 and climbed to $27,201.61 before closing below the sellers reserve price. There is no indication as to whether the 5 bidders trying to win the auction were after the barely used 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS or what sounds like a fairly intolerable woman but in any case, both items seem to have gone unsold. Hopefully, the long run works out for what sounds like another man who has had enough of his pushy old lady…as few things are more aggravating than a woman coming between a man and his muscle car.

A big thanks to Chris for the heads up on this!
