Big Changes Coming for 2022 Toyota RAV4?

Coming soon: 2022 RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid. This is what we know about updates and changes.

Two of the most mysterious and secretive Toyota launches this year are 2022 Tundra and RAV4. But for very different reasons.

Tundra had one of the slowest releases in automotive history. Bit by bit, we received new statistics over several months (including pricing). Now, we have plenty of information and we have a next-gen entry that will hit dealerships next month.

Toyota RAV4, however, we have virtually no news. And it is already November.

2022 Toyota RAV4 Release Date

Although there are almost no details yet about what to expect from 2022 RAV4 and 2022 RAV4 Hybrid, we at least know a little.

I would expect the first vehicles to arrive sometime in December for retail sale. But again, I do not really know this date for sure. A logical assumption on my part. Since it is the end of the year next month.

2022 RAV4 Colors

2022 Toyota RAV4 Cavalry Blue profile viewCavalry Blue will be offered as a color choice in a few different 2022 Toyota RAV4 and Toyota RAV4 Hybrid trim levels.

The most striking RAV4 trim to carry Cavalry Blue is RAV4 XSE Hybrid. I think this will be really cool mixed in with gloss black accents like the roof and the wheels.

RAV4 TRD Off-Road will also offer Cavalry Blue for 2022.

Will it be available in any other trim levels?

“The Empire Strikes Back” features a famous quote by Yoda. “No, there is another.”

So mysterious. Just like 2022 Toyota RAV4 and 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid are being.

2022 Toyota RAV4 Changes

My Magic 8-Ball proclaims there may or may not be a new trim level coming to either Toyota RAV4 or Toyota RAV4 Hybrid this year.

It will be fun to see it revealed by Toyota in the coming weeks. I mean if there really is a new trim level coming.

This is just what the Magic 8-Ball thinks. Or does not think.

Other 2022 RAV4 Updates

Will there be other changes coming to Toyota RAV4 2022? How about 2022 RAV4 Hybrid and 2022 RAV4 Prime?

This I am unsure of.

I do not feel this is a year we will see a complete redesign, since Toyota RAV4 received a new body style for the 2019 model year. Same goes for RAV4 Hybrid and RAV4 Prime.

No word on if there will be any interior or exterior styling changes. This is often seen on a model after three years. But again, with no real news coming from Toyota this is challenging to say one way or another.

Time for Your Toyota RAV4 Comments

I feel both RAV4 and Toyota RAV4 Hybrid are excellent choices for consideration. RAV4 is the best-selling small SUV in the country due to its versatility, reliability, and affordability.

Do you own either Toyota RAV4, RAV4 Hybrid, or RAV4 Prime? If so, how do you like them so far?

Are you waiting for Toyota RAV4 news about updates and changes for 2022 just like me?

What a waste article, new trim may or may not be…everyone knows that it may or may not this feature or that feature

I have a 2020 RAV4 Hybrid in the Limited trim. I love the vehicle but I would like a few tweaks. Firstly, I would like the 8way adjustable power seat on the passenger side as I'm 6'2" and the passenger seat is just a little too high. Secondly, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay should work wirelessly. Thirdly a bigger electric battery would be a benefit to get more EV time.

I've had my RAV4 PHV for almost a year now. Due to the horsepower, I get way worse mileage than my wife's 21 limited RAV4 hybrid. My only complaint is the hideous red stitching everywhere and of course the crap name "Prime"

I am a 2020 RAV4 XLE HYBIRD (lunar rock) owner. Currently 28700 miles. Overall thoroughly impressed with style and performance. However , Toyota needs to illuminate ALL interior switches and buttons and do something about the USB plugins in the front location.

We purchased a 2021 Rav 4 Prime SXE and are delighted with it. I am still in the learning curve of obtaining the maximum overall mileage combining the EV and the charging drive mode.

This is not an article. It says nothing. It is clickbait for those of us looking for information. Total waste of time.
