Subaru WRX STI is Ready For "Fast and Furious 8"

Will a 2016 Subaru WRX STI get trashed in the new Fast and Furious movie?

Cast members have been recruited for the new upcoming Fast and Furious movie sequel. There’s speculation that a new Subaru WRX STI will be on the big screen when it hits theaters. According to Vine Report, a transport trailer with cars for the movie were seen with a Subaru WRX STI, Lamborghini Murcielago, and Rally Fighter. The report came from Jalopnik when a reader sent them the pics.

The cars including the Subaru WRX STI were being transported to the location setting of the new film. Apart from the supercars, the photos revealed a few others like a military armored vehicle, a tank and golf cart for "Fast and Furious 8.” The white heavily modified Subaru STI sat at the front and top of the car transport carrier. It gets a few modifications for the movie.

The Subaru WRX STI has been modified for the new film with body panels, blacked-out tail lights, rear bumper and it looks like it will have a special rear wing when the car hits the streets. It also looks like it will get special headlights and front grille for the upcoming Furious 8.

The all-white 2016 Subaru WRX STI was seen with special rally wheels and roll cage inside for the special effects filming. It’s not the first time for Subaru, as several were used in the filming of Furious 7. The WRX STI will go fast and will likely get trashed in the new Fast and Furious 8.
