The ten recommended models by CR I have listed here are among those with the best fuel economy for their class. In short, these are good models with good fuel economy—including some electric vehicles.

MY TAKE

I think these things are important for Forester customers to know.

1. The 2024 Subaru Forester has added features for active customers you won't find on other compact SUVs.

2. All Forester trim levels come with won't Subaru's Symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. You won't be stuck on the side of the road when the weather gets bad.

3. All Forester trim levels come with X-Mode for severe winter weather capability.

4. The Forester Sport, Wilderness, Limited, and Touring trim levels feature dual-function X-Mode for all-terrain capability.

5. The 2024 Forester Wilderness has even more off-road features for those who want to escape civilization and get further off the grid.

6. The redesigned 2025 Subaru Forester arrives this spring. Stay tuned as I will bring the new pricing when Subaru of America makes the announcement.
