Are Subaru Vehicles Good For Camping? Why They Are Simply The Best
It’s the first day of summer 2022 and outdoor enthusiasts are heading out to go camping in the mountains and on the beach. Which car brands make the best vehicles for camping and outdoor adventures? There are many like Jeep, Ford, and others that are good. Here’s why the 2022 Subaru Forester, Crosstrek, Outback, and Ascent make the best camping vehicles for active individuals this summer.
Automakers design their SUVs to have the broadest appeal for most buyers and are built to be efficient for commuting and urban life. Subaru has always been different and created a niche market for those who want to get away from civilization on the weekends.
The 2022 Subaru Outback and Forester Wilderness are good examples and come with more features for those with active lifestyles. With the first day of summer arriving today, many active individuals, regardless of age, want to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors by exploring, going on hikes, mountain biking, trail running, fishing, camping, kayaking, and surfing.
A report from Singletracks says mountain bikers are three times as likely as the average American to own a Subaru over any other brand. They also report, that riders clearly enjoy their Subaru Outbacks, Jeep Wranglers, Jeep Cherokees, and Subaru Foresters more than all other vehicles in America.
What sets the Subaru brand apart?
The 2022 Subaru Forester, Crosstrek, Outback, and Ascent all come with 8.7-inches of ground clearance, Outback Wilderness has 9.4-inches, and Forester Wilderness 9.2-inches. They all come standard with Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel-drive, and X-Mode for added off-pavement capability.
The 2022 Subaru Forester compact SUV, Outback midsize SUV, Crosstrek subcompact SUV, and Ascent 3-Row SUV are perfect all-wheel-drive vehicles for getting away from boring this summer. With Subaru’s standard Symmetrical all-wheel-drive, a few accessories, and the right gear, you can get far away from civilization and enjoy outdoor adventures this summer.
