$650 Gets You Half Day At the Track With BMW M2

Performance enthusiasts in New Zealand can sign up for a fun day at the track with the new BMW M2 Coupe. It’s called "The BMW M Festival Driving Experience” and anyone over 25 years old with a valid driver’s license can get the chance to drive BMW’s M vehicles.

All BMW M sedan and coupe models including the new M2 will be available for enthusiasts to experience if you can get to New Zealand. The track event takes place at Hampton Downs in May and June and is a rare opportunity for performance fans to put all of the BMW M models to the test in a track experience.

A first in New Zealand

Managing Director of BMW Group New Zealand, Florian Renndorfer says, ”This is the first time in New Zealand that drivers will get to experience a comprehensive selection of M vehicles on the race track. The event will mark the official debut of the new BMW M2 Coupe, a dynamic new model which will be sure to further enhance New Zealander’s love of BMW M.”

BMW M Festival Driving Experience

The event costs $650 per person for a half day session and will take place at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park racetrack, Hampton Downs Rd, Te Kauwhata. Trained BMW driving instructors will be on hand to offer one-on-one instruction over three hours ensuring enthusiasts get the ultimate M driving experience.
