Lexus expects buyers to love new LS 460 Touring

The opulent new car, aimed at youthful luxury buyers, will come with a $73,000 window sticker when it begins arriving at Lexus dealerships by early July. The MSRP price excludes delivery, processing and a handling fee of $875.

“The Touring Edition adds excitement to our flagship sedan,” Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager, said Sunday in a statement.

“The package on this car enhances styling and comfort, allowing us to attract younger buyers to the LS line-up. ... The LS 460 Touring Edition is a unique package of sporty exterior styling and comfort. With limited units available nationwide, they’ll sell out fast to customers who want an all-inclusive luxury package.”

The Touring Edition (pictured) will come in rear- and all-wheel drive. It will be different from other LS models by a Smoky Granite Mica exterior, and equipment that includes sport seats, a sport kit and grille, a wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob and 19-inch, 5-spoke alloy wheels. The AWD will have 18-inch wheels.

Also standard on Touring Editions: matte brown wood trim, black and saddle leather-trimmed seats and premium floor mats.
