Tesla is one of the most well known names in the modern day automotive industry. It is the leading automotive manufacturer for battery powered cars. Yes, that means zero gasoline usage. It is without question that the evil genius behind this company, Elon Musk, has done anything except the abnormal. Their brand released their first car in 2008 and today in 2020 it is one of the most popular and practical options you can get on the market. Tesla’s have entered the market from the top down as they are quickly on their way to meet the $20,000 to $30,000 price mark, but their most popular models are $35,000 and above.

The brand is most noted by their quirky leader, their long range capabilities under one singular charge, their surprising performance aspects, and their cutting edge technology. Currently, the Model S holds the record for the longest range on one charge which was 370 miles, but Elon claims 400 miles is coming soon and also claims that the coming soon 2nd gen Tesla Roadster will not only be the fastest production car, but it will also have a range of 620 miles which is absurd.

Lithium finds itself at the heart of most of our technology today. It’s used in rechargeable batteries the world over and has largely been mined using environmentally costly methods. Some Auto manufacturers, like Mercedes and Volkswagen, have begun to invest heavily in means of recycling or producing lithium.

With Electric Vehicles like the Volkswagen ID.4, Tesla Model S, GMC HUMMER EV, and the Mustang Mach E starting their takeover of the motorsports arena, the age of electric muscle may soon be upon us. Chevrolet teased a sporty looking silhouette with an EV drivetrain- many sources believe it to be the next Camaro. But something that is sorely lacking from the EV automotive sector, is customization.

It is no secret that Tesla has received a lot of negative press lately. Many Tesla loyalists believe this is a coordinated attempt to bring down Musk and Tesla. The media will continue to gin up stories, but there are effective ways to put energy toward the right things.

The Electric Vehicle market is dominated by cars that largely appear the same. No offense meant to the folks at the big manufacturers we know and love, like Tesla, Ford, Chevy, and Toyota, but the current EV offering is just not exciting, at least from a visual perspective. Sure, the Plaid mode Tesla has some insane speeds, but it just doesn’t hold an aesthetic candle to the light that is the Porsche Taycan.

Giga Berlin will probably be in winter, rather than in summer: The construction of the Tesla Gigafactory in Grünheide has been delayed - and with it the start of production. It was supposed to start in July, but there are several problems, reports German Tagesschau.

Electric Cars are estimated to be the future of the automotive industry. The means of shuttling people from place-to-place marches down the inexorable road to electrification and automation. The days of the falling asleep at the wheel and dying by your own hands are gone, replaced by computers that can’t see Tractor Trailers or Police Cruisers.

Security gaps made it possible to attack a Tesla's control system via WLAN and, for example, to open the doors, hacking it with drone. Tesla has been informed and has closed the loophole.

Yesterday I reported on Torque News Youtube Channel that Tesla's new FSD Beta V9.0 will be mind blowing and the software's update is coming in two weeks. Last night CEO Elon Musk made another reference to a human mind saying Tesla's Full Self-Driving software update (the V9.0) will have "true mind's eye," and show actual probability distribution of objects. Let's take a look at what this means.

Tesla and its eclectic founder, Elon Musk, have decided to enter a truck into the Electric Vehicle market. This truck, the Cybertruck, is expected to be powerful, rugged, and nigh indestructible. It’s had its share of setbacks on the road to release, including some bad press and the recent chip shortage has not helped get the Cybertruck into our driveways.
