What Jones Soda has to do with all-new Fiat 500e

The all-electric Fiat 500e will launch in California this summer roughly at the same time Natural Jones Soda hits the market and with a winning picture you could win a Fiat 500 – the electric variant of the Cinquecento – if you live in the Golden State.

Natural Jones Soda is nearly as bright and stimulating as the colorful, stylish and efficient Fiat 500e, and if obtained free you could also say both are highly energizing!

The photo contest also provides weekly winners a prize pack of Natural Jones Soda and Fiat Brand merchandise. At the end of the contest, one lucky grand prize winner will not only win the new Fiat 500, but also surfing lessons from pro Brianna Cope and the winning photo will be featured on a short run of Jones Soda.

Could you call this winner effervescent? You probably could!

“We recognized that our brand DNA is similar to that of the Fiat Brand: unique, independent, fun and colorful. Both companies are launching healthier versions of our iconic, regular products in the California market, which are Natural Jones Soda and Fiat’s all-electric vehicle, the Fiat 500e,” said Jennifer Cue, CEO, Jones Soda. “This is a fun way for us to connect with our fan base and do what Jones Soda does best, connect with our consumers through photography.”

The contest is open to residents of the US and Canada, and can be entered by submitting qualifying photos using the hashtag #Jonesinforafiat500e through Jones Soda Co.’s official Website, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages. The contest period runs from now to October 31 and photos will be judged on quality and creativity.

With the highly appropriate title, the Jonesin’ for a Fiat 500e photo contest will be supplemented by event and sampling programs involving Fiat and Jones, including the U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, at which Brianna Cope will compete and highlight the new Fiat 500e.

In addition, Jones Soda and Fiat USA will have a sampling program at Fiat dealerships in the Golden State and will collaborate on a number of social media initiatives.

“The sense of excitement that surrounds the launch of the all-new Fiat 500e in California this summer creates a perfect opportunity for us to partner with like-minded brands such as Jones Soda,” said Jason Stoicevich, Head of FIAT Brand North America. “Through fun social media activities, we will capture customer’s attention and one lucky winner will be able to bring home the zero emission Fiat 500e.”

The electrified Cinquecento boasts a best-in-class EPA confirmed 87 miles of driving range and an equivalent 108 per gallon highway rating of pure electric power. The Fiat 500e is coming during the second-quarter of 2013, with an MSRP of $32,600, including the $800 destination charge.

However, some California residents can purchase the Fiat 500e for as little as $20,600, after federal credits, state incentives and FIAT rebates are totaled.

For some reason the contest is open to everyone north of the Rio Grande plus Hawaii, but excludes the pauvre Quebecois for some unstated reason.

Sometimes it seems the French-speaking residents of Canada just can’t seem to catch a break!
