The limited-edition Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Wrangler Moab models will be in dealer showrooms next month.

"We introduced Grand Cherokee Trailhawk as a concept at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari earlier this year and it quickly drew rave reviews among enthusiasts," Manley added. "The Wrangler Moab delivers rugged off-road features such as winch-ready steel bumpers, upgraded rock rails and an available rear-locker in a package that pays tribute to our most diehard Jeep enthusiasts and the off-road playground they love."

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk
First introduced as a concept at the 2012 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, the production version of the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is now in final fabrication, proving that even the most awarded and most capable SUV ever, can get even better.

The 2013 Trailhawk comes with either a V-6 or V-8 engine and six new features following enhancing offroad capability.

1 • 18-inch Goodyear Kevlar reinforced Silent Armor all-terrain tires

2 • Solid steel rock rail body guarding

3 • Almost 11 inches of clearance with Quadra-Lift air suspension

4 • Rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential (ELSD) can transfer 100% of engine's torque to one rear wheel, maintaining forward thrust in even the most extreme situations

5 • Quadra-Track II or Quadra-Drive II with a two-speed transfer case to climb and conquer the most insurmountable obstacles. (4 and 5 are mated to the V8 engine)

6 • Selec-Terrain traction control system with five settings: Snow, Rock, Sand/Mud, Sport and Auto (this feature was available on the 2012 Grand Cherokee).

The new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk can be recognized by the new signature red Trailhawk and Trail Rated badging and tow hooks, black-surround headlamps with a gray grille surround, side mirrors, rear light bar, 4x4 badge and five-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels.

A black decal with a red accent stripe is placed on the hood to reduce sun glare in extreme off-road situations that would normally reflect blinding brilliance. The Trailhawk’s interior features black leather and performance suede seats with red accent stitching and Mopar slush floor mats, front and rear.

The 2013 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk comes in color choices including Bright White, Brilliant Black, Mineral Gray, Maximum Steel and Deep Cherry Red, making owners the envy of everyone at the treeline.
