Jeep is so convinced that it has built the perfect beach vehicle that it is back with its special 2021 Jeep Wrangler Islander Edition. The Jeep’s Islander Blue evokes the beach scene and summer fun. This is the first time in 11 years that Jeep has brought the Islander Edition back.

“Our Jeep enthusiasts expect legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, and they also embrace the Jeep brand’s fun ‘go anywhere, do anything’ adventure lifestyle,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America. “With Surf Blue accent stitching, Islander-embroidered front seats and available white three-piece hardtop on the Wrangler, you can’t help but think summer and the beach life when you see these new Islander special editions.”

While the Islander Special Edition is designed to stand out at the beach, all 2021 Jeep Wranglers perform extraordinarily well on beach terrain. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler has several key features that make it a great vehicle whether you are surfing or just catching rays.

Incredible Off-Roading Capability to Match Your Lifestyle

The first and foremost reason that the 2021 Jeep Wrangler may be the best beach vehicle is the incredible range of off-road capability. The Wrangler offers several different versions each offering its own level of adventure. Depending on where you want to go and how hard it is to get to your favorite beach, the 2021 Wrangler offers distinct choices.

The Sport models have an available Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with full-time four-wheel drive and a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. The Rubicon models however have an even more rugged system with a Rock-Trac 4x4 system with full-time four-wheel drive and a “4LO” ratio of 4:1 available. The Rubicon also includes electric front and rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar and 33-inch BF Goodrich KM All-Terrain tires, taking Wrangler to places other vehicles can’t handle.

Speaking of getting places other vehicles can’t manage. The Jeep Wrangler has an approach angle of 44 degrees, breakover angle of 27.8 degrees, departure angle of 37 degrees and a ground clearance of 10.9 inches. Especially when it is equipped with the large tires, the Jeep Wrangler can scale most of the toughest terrain.

Built for Ease and Accessibility

The 2021 Jeep Wrangle is designed to do exactly what you want it to quickly and easily. It is easy to pop the doors and the top off. The fenders can be removed, even the windshield can be folded down. The one-touch powertop allows you to open or close the Wrangler’s roof with a push of a button. The powertop can be used at speeds up to 60 mph.

Safety and Security

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler includes several key features making it perfect for the beach. The vehicle has a lot of hidden and locking storage so that you can keep valuables safety out of sight while you are away enjoying the fun in the sun.

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler offers available off-road pages and a new TrailCam forward-facing off-road camera with the 8.4-inch touchscreen. You can easily flip to the front camera through the off-road pages. Now you can have a clearer view of exactly where you are traveling and how well your vehicle is performing.

Other safety features like a 360 degree camera, keep you aware of all potential obstacles. There are scores of other safety features that will make any outing safe and fun. These are just a few of the reasons that the 2021 Jeep Wrangler may be the perfect beach vehicle.
