After first revamping the Wrangler lineup, Jeep is now giving the midsize Gladiator some love. The automaker is rolling out a new “Convoy” campaign and will release limited edition Gladiators with special trim packages emphasizing capability while off-roading. The first of the new packages is the 2026 Jeep Gladiator Shadow Ops Special Edition. The Shadow Ops trim adds a blacked-out appearance and a factory installed winch for the off-roaders who may find themselves needing to help others out on the trail.
“The Jeep Gladiator has always stood for freedom and capability, Shadow Ops elevates that legacy to a whole new level,” said Bob Broderdorf, CEO of the Jeep brand. “This package is built for our most passionate off-road enthusiasts, combining rugged functionality with a bold, covert look. Shadow Ops gives adventurers not just the tools, but the confidence and attitude to dominate any trail.”
2026 Jeep Gladiator Shadow Ops Special Edition
The Jeep Gladiator is designed for capability while out on the trail and this edition takes that to new heights. It is built off the Rubicon platform to provide the most maneuverability out on the rugged terrain. The Shadow Ops package offers heavy-duty steel bumpers with the Trailer Tow Package for ultimate trail versatility. Plus, the factory installed winch will help the driver or their friends get out of difficult situations. I have written previously about the Gladiator winning awards for being the most adventurous vehicle. This special edition should cement that distinction. With its stealth-inspired blackout details, the Shadow Ops is not only designed to look more capable but the winch and the steel bumpers will back that up.
2026 Gladiator Shadow Ops Features:
- Factory-installed winch for recovery capability
- Heavy-duty steel front and rear bumpers for durability
- Satin Black grille for an aggressive, tactical look
- Exclusive Shadow Ops hood and fender decals
- Tailgate decal and theme package
- Body-color Freedom Top three-piece hardtop for open-air freedom
- Body-color fender flares
Limited-run edition hits dealerships February 2026, package price of $2,605 MSRP over a comparably equipped model with body-color Freedom Top and fender flares.
This “Convoy” campaign kicks off a new chapter for the 2026 Gladiator. You can expect to see future special editions that will highlight the Gladiator’s capability both on and off-road.
