The Jeep Grand Cherokee has won a lot of awards over the years, but a recent award credits the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the upgrades it received during its redesign. The Car Connection has chosen the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee as the Best SUV to Buy in 2022 for several very specific reasons.
In making its decision for Best SUV to Buy in 2022, The Car Connection lists a number of improvements in the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, including its new three row design and an all-new electrified powertrain. The Jeep Grand Cherokee originally earned kudos for its off-road ability, but over the years has built on that to create an incredible family SUV. The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee adds a plug-in hybrid version without sacrificing any of the capability. It is even available as a Trailhawk model. The Grand Cherokee 4xe is expected to get an estimated 25 miles of all-electric range, 57 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) and a combined driving range of more than 440 miles. The 4xe propulsion system combines two electric motors, a 400-volt battery pack, 2.0-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine and TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission for maximum efficiency and capability. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe has a similar powertrain and has been a popular seller.
New Three Row 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
The Car Connection praised the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee for having more interior space and also for having a new three-row version. Many previous Jeep Grand Cherokee owners were frustrated because Jeep did not have a larger Grand Cherokee for a family to grow into. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L answers all of those needs. The Grand Cherokee L delivers adds third-row capacity and increased cargo volume with seating for up to seven passengers. The vehicle’s expanded wheelbase creates a larger interior and gives passengers class-leading legroom in the second row. The cargo area has room to place sets of golf clubs sideways.
2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Added Safety Features
The all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee comes loaded with the latest safety features that Jeep has to offer. It claims to have the most available technology features in its class. Some of the safety features include: 360-degree surround view, drowsy driver detection and night vision cameras. It also has a 10.25-inch front passenger screen, rear-seat monitoring camera system, rear-seat entertainment displays with built-in Amazon Fire TV.
