Jeep Showing Off Its First BEV - The All-New Jeep Wagoneer S

Jeep is building excitement around the Jeep Wagoneer S' arrival. Just 12 days ago Jeep teased the front view of its highly-anticipated vehicle. Now we see the whole thing!

Jeep is releasing new views of its Jeep Wagoneer S BEV and confirming that the new mid-size SUV will be available by the fall of 2024 in both the U.S. and Canada. Jeep is still not saying if the highly anticipated BEV will be sold as a 2024 or 2025 model. Jeep is finally revealing what the interior of the Wagoneer S will look like.

Jeep won hearts when it debuted the 1963 Jeep Wagoneer because it was more luxurious than other truck-like vehicles in the family hauler segment. Now, Jeep hopes to recapture the same magic for its first BEV.

“The new Jeep Wagoneer S interior features premium technology seamlessly integrated with meticulously crafted artisan details. Mindful materials and design-focused features include a tailored driver control center with a unique Jeep brand-exclusive Selec-Terrain toggle and dynamic, color-selectable ambient lighting. The Jeep Wagoneer S will also feature a standard dual-pane panoramic sunroof and, expanding the Jeep brand’s exclusive collaboration with McIntosh, will offer a discerningly tuned, segment-exclusive, 19-speaker, premium flagship McIntosh audio system.”

Jeep Wagoneer S To Debut the STLA-Large Platform

As I wrote 12 days ago, the Wagoneer S will be built on Stellantis’ new STLA-Large Platform. The mid-size SUV will be offered exclusively as a BEV. The Jeep Wagoneer S will have off-road capability with all-terrain management, advanced Jeep brand-focused technology and impressive performance credentials. The Wagoneer S is expected to have 600 horsepower and a lightning fast 0-60 mph time of around 3.5 seconds. Its exterior design is marked by a reimagined LED-lit class-exclusive seven-slot Jeep brand grille.

Stellantis' Global BEV Push

The new Jeep Wagoneer S is part of the Jeep brand’s ongoing global electrification initiative of accomplishing Zero Emission Freedom. The plan supports Stellantis' ambition to become a carbon net zero corporation by 2038 as outlined in the company's Dare Forward 2030 long-term strategic plan.

The Jeep Wagoneer S will be sold first in US and Canada. Global sales will follow after that.  Jeep has set up a Wagoneer S website for fans who want to follow the vehicle’s development.
