Do You Approve James Bond's Aston Martin Fiat 500 Tradeoff?

Sadly in the next installment of the beloved Bond series, James Bond will not be sporting the British born Aston Martin DB5 in the upcoming release of the latest 007 adventure. The MI6 secret agent, played by some of the greatest actors in the industry from Roger Moore, Sean Connery to the debonair Pierce Bronsan, will now be in the Italian spirit behind the wheel of the Fiat 500 taking us on numerous thrill chases through the streets of the Vatican.

Since the birth of the infamous character James Bond, the British spy has been seen driving in some of the most exclusive and elegant autos on the planet. Each equipped with all sorts of spectacular weapons and gadgets from alternative transportation modes, to anti-pursuit systems, to a variety of other spy required tools.

Never disappointing us, Bond through out the series has typically always made an appearance in what many would consider his daily driver if bond had one, the Aston Martin DB5. To our dismay though, unfortunately the DB5 will remain in the well hidden garage of our favorite spy for the next adventure soon to hit the Italian streets.

For Daniel Craig fans we can report that he will continue in his role of Bond for his fourth go around. Italian news agency ANSA has revealed that, Italy's capital city, Rome will play host to three key action scenes, including one where a car ends up crashing into the Tibur River.

Shooting in the Fiat 500 is expected to begin in February and March of 2015. With that said it appears the Fiat 500 will not be the long term auto of choice for Bond as it is said it will meet an untimely end in the streets of the Vatican where the Fiat will be destroyed in an infamous Bond chase. So fans, not to worry it is very likely the Aston Martin DB5 will rise again and we will once more find Bond, James Bond firmly gripping the wheel hammering down at full throttle in future installments of the 007 franchise.

James Bond Driving

What do you think of the choice of the Fiat 500 as Bond's new ride? Do you think this will make a good James Bond car?

Molto bene. I've owned four Fiats and have been a Bond fan since Dr. No in 1962. It's nice to see them come together.
