Utah Power Utility Offers $10K Discount on 2017 Nissan Leaf

Despite the near term arrival of the next generation Nissan Leaf, sales were brisk in May. The best selling B.E.V. will continue to sell well in Utah thanks to a strategic partnership between Nissan and a major Utility.

As announced Thursday June 1: As announced today in Utah Business, Rocky Mountain Power has partnered with Nissan in an extraordinary discount offer. For the month of June, Rocky Mountain Power customers can take advantage of a $10,000 discount on the delivery of a 2017 Nissan Leaf, the best selling battery electric vehicle in the United States.

Huge discount, federal tax incentive, free charging Salt Lake City Metro

Looking to the numbers, as well as the estimated depreciation, those living in the Rocky Mountain Power service area may very well be driving their next Nissan Leaf for free, or close to it. *All Rocky Mountain Power customers and employees qualify for the discount, which expires June 30. Those who take advantage of the offer may also qualify for a federal tax credit of $7,500.

Nissan also offers 24 months of complimentary public charging at participating outlets in the Salt Lake City area. The offer is available at any of the eight Utah Nissan LEAF dealerships – Logan, Murray, North Salt Lake, Orem, Riverdale, Saint George, Salt Lake City or South Jordan.
