Tesla Autopilot and FSD Essential Hack That Everyone Should Know: Essential During Heavy Traffic

When you are in busy traffic, there is an essential hack that you should know when using Tesla Autopilot or FSD. Here's what it is.

Tesla Autopilot and FSD - Essential Hack

When driving in busy traffic conditions with Tesla Autopilot, you will eventually get a warning on the screen - with an even bigger font size after a software update - that nags you to grab the wheel and apply pressure.

This can be very tiresome when traffic is busy and things are almost at a standstill. You'll be grabbing the wheel over and over, tiring your your hands and arms.

Tesla Autopilot is a free piece of software that comes standard on every Tesla, and it will stay in a lane and stop for cars in front of you in the same lane.

FSD is Tesla's full self-driving software that will drive you anywhere, whether it be on the highway or city streets, and it will stop for stop signs and stop lights, as well as merge on the freeway and off of it.

Neither system is autonomous yet, and requires complete driver supervision in case the driver needs to take over.

The Essential Hack for Busy Traffic When Using Autopilot and FSD

Fortunately, when using these driver assist software programs, you don't have to grab the steering wheel and apply pressure when the system nags you.

Simply take one of your fingers or thumb and gently scroll one of the scroll wheels on the left or right up or down one notch. That's it. The system will count that as interacting with the steering wheel.

This is much less exhaustive than having to grab the wheel and applying force to it. The alert will go away after this, and you can continue enjoying your driver assist software.

Tesla Autopilot and FSD are modern marvels of technology, making driving safer and easier than ever before.

It's great that there is a way to use less effort when getting nagged to apply pressure to the steering wheel.
